Best Bang for the Money
Honestly, using this monitor was like the first time I got prescription lenses when my parents realised I might be short-sighted. I had no idea a monitor could have a picture this good. For context my old monitor was a 27" 120Hz 1080p monitor. I will never go back if I can help it. With regards to GPU, I am running this monitor with a Zotac GTX1070 8GB and a DisplayPort cable with the latest standard. Runs like a dream. The Good:* The build quality is excellent. The "foot" of the stand is solid heavy aluminium and so is the nice red bar along the bottom of the screen. The plastic feels solid and top quality.* The monitor glass itself has a lovely matte smoothness to it. The bezel is 8mm on the top and sides.* It has excellent range of movement. It can be moved vertically, turned side to side AND be twisted a full 90 to portrait mode.* The red and black colour scheme is beautiful. It is understated classy rather than Razer Fabulous. The Meh:* This is very much "1st world problems" meh and you may not even consider it a meh: It uses an old-fashioned bottom-of-monitor button interface to access and manipulate the menu. HANNSpree if you read this please consider my suggestion: A perfect upgrade to the button interface is adding an additional "Quick Switch" button that allows you to assign 2 of your favourite modes to it. That way you can switch between 2 modes with 1 click, as opposed to an average of 6 clicks.* You will need to play with the settings a bit (but this is true of any monitor). By default the brightness is way too bright! Text mode is the best for general admin work and web browsing and allows you to dial down the brightness. Game 2 mode has the most natural colour scheme. Gamer 1 is a bit too cold/blue and Gamer 3 a bit too warm/orange. Did I mention it is super bright? The Ugly:* Slight ghosting but I could only do this in one game specifically: Dragon Age Inquisition (i.e. DA:I). You can reproduce it by standing your main character somewhere raised like a cliff edge so you are against a large part of the skybox. Then very quickly spin the view with the mouse. You will see a slight ghosting around the edge of the main character against the sky. HOWEVER this might not be because of the monitor itself. It could either be the Frostbite engine that DA:I runs on OR because this monitor happens to comes with some built-in post-processing functionality. There is a Sharpness setting that appears to add contrast edges as well as a "Black Stabilization" function. When set very high it can add a Borderlands-esque look to all the 3D assets in a game. This can be dialled down. This might be a Meh rather than an Ugly for you. Your mileage may vary. I play the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO and this effect actually improves how that game looks and there is no ghosting. All that said though I have never been happier with my monitor purchase. I had a limited budget and I feel I got the absolute best deal out of all the brands offering in the £300 range. This is undoubtedly a 5-star product for me.Be warned that this or any other 2K or 4K monitor will ruin video for you. Most sources are 1080p and it looks "fuzzy" and dull on higher resolution monitors. Anime from a BluRay source however looks friggin' fantastic. PSA for buyers who want to stream 4K on Netflix: This is restricted to PCs with Windows 10, a 7th gen Intel CPU or NEWER and the HEVC Video Extension installed from the Windows App Store. It's not just the monitor, do some research on it.

Great monitor, broken displayport
Fantastic monitor, beauriful display and smoooth 144hz refresh rate. Nice colors and lighting, easy to assemble and the stand is great and makes for very easy adjustment. My only gripe is that the displayport cable included may have been faulty or the displayport port is faulty, because when using the cable anything above 60hz is covered in black and grey bars, making the cable unusable.

Exceptional monitor, great quality a must buy!
If you are looking for a great review, James Thomas' just below says it all. I am a graphic designer, photographer, gamer, web browser - this monitor is of a great build quality, fantastic screen colours, clarity, and its depth just draws you in. I am pretty sure I was it was IPS somewhere online. Very easy to build and setup, and looks fantastic. Buy this monitor you wont regret it.

15 months later.....
This monitor is a little gem. Had several in recent years and I'd never heard of this brand but for the price and the reviews I thought I'd try it. 15months later and it's still superb. 1440p gaming with a high Refresh rate, superb colour and clarity. Buy one. Just simply buy one and enjoy. You're welcome.

Do not buy this monitor if you have Apple computer
I can't say how this monitor behaves with PCs, but with my MacBook Pro it's useless. Colours are off, text is either jagged, blurry or fuzzy depending on an app and monitor setting I'm using (and oh, I spent a dozen hours trying to configure the monitor and all the esoteric configuration settings within macOS that I could find on including a few dozens restarts to apply these settings). I'm a computer programmer and I thought this would be a cheap way of getting a decent monitor to work from home and use it for games as well. Unfortunately reading most fonts on this monitor is impossible if they are smaller than 16pt if you don't want to squint and harm your eye-sight at the same time.To add to the insult my vendor was utmost unhelpful declaring they have no Apple products and they don't even know if this monitor should work with MacBooks. I thought I was paying them for the monitor, but instead they sent me to the vendor refusing absolutely any help. Now I am trying to return this, in my opinion, defective product.

Damage
Bought this as an upgrade from my acer 24in led 2k but was disappointed as it’s not as clear as my old one, I think it’s lcd not led as in the description says but the worse part was I had to wait over 5days for this package to arrive and when it did the box was damaged and the seal was broken there was a mark on the back to but the build qty is very good just pic isn’t as good as a led 2k screen

Good monitor but replace the supplied Display Port cable
I’ve been using this monitor for a week now and am very impressed with the quality and build. It lacks a usb hub but it’s not a deal breaker. The thing that lets the monitor down is the the audio. It sounds like baked bean tins and string telephone. It’s not a deal breaker as I use headphones, but if you’re looking to buy this without having to get external speakers then you will be disappointed.I can confirm this is a VA panel not an IPS panel. There seems to have been some confusion over this in the past.I would strongly recommend replacing the display port cable that comes with the monitor. Why? Because the supplied cable is not fit for purpose and is poor quality. As soon as I changed the the display settings in windows to anything over 60hz I got flickering lines and the odd blank screen for a few settings. I did a bit of googling and tried different settings in the Nvidia control panel (got an Nvidia 1080TI) including how the power was transmitted from the graphics card but to no avail. Then I read that some people’s solution was to replace the cable. I bought a VESA approved 1.3 Display Port cable on Prime and it has fixed the issue.
