One Message One Truth: The Prophecies of the Blessed Virgin at Fatima, Lourdes, Akita and Other Approved Apparitions

....to answer a question posed by another reviewer.I do think the author stretched things just a bit when taking literally Bl. Pope John Paul II discussion of a "flood of great proportions" (paraphrasing)that will kill millions. I think he was referring to the time of Noah, actually, since I'm fairly certain God "promised" not to flood the earth again. But this statement by Bl. Pope John Paul II certainly did, and does, indicate that he knew things we do not know and, most likely, from the Third Secret.This is an important book because it takes up the cause of our Blessed Mother, it carries her banner, and this is much needed. The Church blithely goes along ignoring what She expressly requested, much to its peril, and to ours. Perhaps this present Pope Francis will have the courage to do what he must, what should have already been done. It appears that he is a man of courage and great integrity.I highly recommend this book to the Roman Catholic audience or, for that matter, to anyone who has a quest for truth in an age where truth appears to be lacking.

This book all should . Read and note how our Leaders of OUR FATHER HOLY CHURCH HAVE PLACED THEMSELVES ABOVE THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. THOSE LEADERS NEED TO GO BACK TO WHAT THEIR VOWS WERE . THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THEY ARE SUBJECTS TO THE REQUEST AND FULFILLING THE THIRD MESSAGE OF FATIMA. BECAUSE THEY HAVE PLACED THEMSELVES ABOVE THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY WE ARE now GOING THRU MUCH ANGUISH BAD WEATHER,SEVERAL CONFRONTATIONAL ISSUES WITH OTHER COUNTRIES , ETC. PRAYERS PRAYERS

This little book should be required reading for all of us. We are living in prophetic times and we need to turn to our Blessed Mother for help as we enter into the coming spiritual battle

I bought this book especially to have a list of reputable sources for the messages of each of the Marian apparitions since Guadalupe. However, this book has few and questionable sources, many of which seem to be at odds with or at least to challenge Church authority. While the idea of the book is a good one, namely, to see if there is a continuing thread connecting the Virgin Mary's messages in different apparitions throughout history, I think it would do very well to write this short review to warn Catholics and people interested in the subject matter of the following:1) There is no "Nihil obstat". Indeed all of the apparitions mentioned in the book have been approved by the Church, but not the book itself, nor the stuff contained therein. In its place is a line that reads, "The intended use of this book is to provide a deeper knowledge of Roman Catholicism through one aspect of it, namely, approved Marian apparitions."2) No distinguishing between the Church approval of the apparitions themselves and of the messages that came from them. Doing some web searches, one sees that in some instances, the apparitions are approved, but not the "secrets" that came from them.3) Few and poor sources. One of the most fascinating claims is that the Virgin Mary predicted the founding and rise of freemasonry before its existence. However, the source of the lengthy quote where Our Lady of Good Success supposedly says this is a book published by Tradition in Action, where a cursory look at their website shows such phrases as "the Conciliar Church" (referring to the Catholic Church after Vatican II), references to Pope Francis as "Bergoglio", etc. And, in fact, that book is the only source for the whole section on Our Lady of Good Success. It would have been much better to include either the Church documents containing this message, or at least a recognized scholarly study of the apparition.Also, on page 17, there's a pretty notable discrepancy: "One day, Melanie Calvat and Maximin Girad, two illiterate shepherd children, saw a woman sitting on a rock with her face in her hands..." These illiterate children, after being told a secret message by Our Lady, "wrote down the secret they were given, of which there were many stanzas" (!).I could go on to cite other problems with this book, especially its reliance on the writings of Christopher Ferrara, a traditionalist Catholic author who seems to accuse Joseph Ratzinger of dishonesty about the release of the third secret of Fatima in "The Secret Still Hidden;" however, I think that what I have said is enough for any Catholic to see that the material contained in this book is questionable at best and without a doubt not worth reading if one wants to know the basics of Our Lady's messages to the Church.There are many strange conspiracy theories surrounding Marian apparitions, contained in books written by authors who limit themselves to citing each other. It would be wise to avoid them.

Where do we stand with our salvation is the ultimate question. These examples will help to to be others centered and a truer devotion to Mary. God is giving two last remedies to the world. These are the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are the last two remedies which signify that there will be no others.Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Most Holy Mother, consists in considering Her as the seat of mercy, of goodness and of pardon, and as the sure door by which we are to enter Heaven.

I have heard all these prophecies before but the busyness of life had pushed them to the back of mind. This book broughtthem to the front again.There IS chastisement coming....our preparation should be to sanctify ourselves through the Rosary and Consecration to Mary.Consecration to Jesus through Mary is the fastest way to Holiness.

Our Lady is begging us to listen to her messages. If you read this book you will recognize everything that has happened to the Roman Catholic Church, from the infiltration by modernists and Masons to the making of the new banal liturgy. As well, she predicted the great fall of society into moral decay. She is a voice crying out from heaven to help her children!

The author here has done an excellent job of linking the Marian appearances into a cohesive message for us all. The book is factual and full of insightful comments on these apparitions. I thought I knew about these apparitions before reading the book, but I learned so much from this little volume. I had not before realized that Mary's message was so consistent throughout her appearances. The conclusions in this inspiring book will stay with me for a long time.
