My kitten loved this until one of the big cats decided to try it and it broke.

Our cats went nuts for this thing. Not so much the little tower attached to it, but the arch is absolutely wonderful. The base piece of the arch under the material is so sturdy, that when the sisal mat was torn to bits by our cats I simply got some sisal rope and hot glued it on, wrapping it around to refurbish it. I used our staple gun to add stability, but I don't think that's crucial.In any case, we've loved it so much that I recently got another one. I had planned to disassemble it and throw it out, but upon removing the shredded sisal I found it could be restored once again. And now, while they use that one, I can refurbish the old one and it can be used again. (And to be honest, I'll probably take that sisal mat off as soon as I have enough rope to replace it.TL;DR:Great item. Good price, I think. Can last years with minimal maintenance.

Lasted all of a month before the post started to wobble then snapped. My cat is only 6 months old, so not fully grown yet and the platform just didn’t hold up. However, the only reason I still give it three stars is thats it still serves its purpose and has use even without the post and platform because of the scratching arch on the base.

I purchased two of these for my rescue kittens. While assembling the first one, the screw to connect the top platform to the post popped off. There is no way to repair this and the structure can not be assembled without it so I requested a refund. I assembled the second one and put it in the playpen with my very young kittens. They absolutely loved it. After less than a month of use, the screw on this one popped off as well and the top platform tumbled down along with my two-month old kitten. The scratching post was lightly used by kittens weighing no more than two pounds. I can't imagine how quickly this product would break with a larger cat using it!!! Such poor quality is inexcusable, especially when it can cause harm to a pet. Unfortunately, this incident happened 9 days after the 30 day return period so I can not get a refund. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you care about your cats, be careful to only buy top quality products that don't pose harm to your beloved pets!

Initially this thing was awesome. A stray kitty showed up pregnant, so we took her to the vet to find no microchip. We eneded up keeping her so she could have her babies in a safe place. I bought this thing because they’re now 6 weeks old.....it didn’t last 2 weeks. I bought it April 15th and is already destroyed. The kittens are covered in “carpet” that it’s wrapped in (it comes off super easy). The three balls hanging were off the next morning. The biggest concern I have is the placement of the “tree” part. It’s about an inch from the scratch pad and two of the kittens have gotten stuck in between there. It’s scary if you’re not there to help them out. For a bigger cat, no problem, but for babies, it’s a perfect amount of space for their neck to slide into if they fall. Don’t recommend for kittens. I wouldn’t buy it again, anyway.

Wir suchten für unseren Kater einen kleinen Kratzbaum um seine krallen zu wetzen und das er sich ablegen kann.Wurde von ihm sofort super angenommen, Qualität was wir bisher nach einigen Tagen beurteilen können ist gut. Hält den Kater auch gut aus, der doch ein paar Kilos wiegt ;)
