I appreciate the reasonable price, and wish I bought more. The fire tender strand very effective, makes melting ends tricky.

You can't beat this stuff! This is great rope. I cut off about a foot and took it apart. You've seen the pictures. It has 7 twisted polyester cords, made up of three threads. I couldn't break the cord without it cutting into my hands. I took apart the cord and couldn't break the poly thread. It has a white sewing thread and I couldn't break that without cutting my hand either. There is a fishing line and I'm no wimp but, you guessed it, couldn't break it either. There is a waxed fire starter. I was feeling kinda bad by now so I didn't even try to break it but, I did try to light it. It ignited instantly and it's waxed so it's waterproof. When I was all done testing the guts of the rope, I realized I still had the exterior of the rope left. You guessed it, it wouldn't break either. I don't know about you but, that's a neck of a lot more than I have ever asked from a rope before. Yea, I like it.

I got this for a bug out bag item as well as keeping a short piece for EDC as a keychain. I've tried the fire starter and the cord itself. The fire starter starts with a fero Rod after a few strikes and will even light the rest of the cord on fire as an added flame source. The cord feels almost exactly like normal paracord and melts to seal the ends nicely.Pros.Works as paracord.Has fire starter inside that works well.Has fishing line inside (not tested)Has thread inside. (Not tested)Comes in many colors. (I got Brown)Comes with a Velcro cord keeper.Cons.Wish it cost less. But it's a good price still.Not anything else really.

Works great has many uses. Hang your meat in a tree, replace your shoelace. Wouldn't go camping or hunting without it

This was exactly what I needed to make the perfect laces for my boots and use on the handles of some of my knives. This is very good quality and really has the extra stuff you won't find in regular 550D paracord. I was a bit afraid of the fire tender causing problems especially with a lot of friction but it didn't and won't as far as I can tell. It would require direct flame or a lot of heat in a burst to ignite. The fishing line could came in handy for any number of things. This is a spectacular product that I will use on everything I can think of.

I like the strength, the construction with fire starting material in the cord, and the camo color of this cordage. An essential addition to hiking and survival gear. One of the better products to carry at a good price.

Ok it’s not copper stranded easily fixed at the local hardware, the good news is it’s equivalants are often twice as expensive..
