Ballet Spectacular: A Young Ballet Lover's Guide and an Insight into a Magical World

This is a great book for those 7 year old ballerinas who will have it for years as they go to it for more and more information. The photos are beautiful. My niece just did her first research in the third grade and you guessed it. This is the book she cited in her "paper."

The photographs in this book are beautiful. There is a fair amount of writing, but the pictures make up for it. The writing is interesting as well.

One of the best ballet books I have ever seen. Beautiful pictures, enough detailed information to be interesting, but not too much to bog you down. Also covers ballet from a range of subjects (costumes, specific ballets, positions).
