Simple, solid, perfect.
My old cable machine blew a weld and I decided to go with this option to replace it. It arrived quick, was easy to assemble, and allows me to pump iron without a spotter or the fear of getting stuck beneath the weight in a moment of overzealousness (it happens, lemme tellya... like taking off a 300 lb pair of pants....)

Love Valor Fitness
The media could not be loaded. When I moved a few years ago I was heartbroken because I had to get rid of my power rack ( also from Valor Fitness). My new basement has only a 72” clearance. So it’s hard to find a decent “short” power rack. Most of them are garbage or overpriced. I saw the BF-47 and found a life hack. I can do my bench press’s without a spotter now without a power rack.Sold steel construction I expected nothing less from valor fitness. I do have some hang up though. The nuts and bolts were not marked. Making assembly take twice as long. Do yourselves a favor and mark it yourself before assembly. The foam grips remind me of bodylastics old grips before they improved their handles. I just used a little electrical tape to remedy this. But small potato’s now that it’s finished I’m 100% impressed! I highly recommend this for any home gym with a low ceiling. First choice would be a power rack if you have the headroom.

Great Product and Superb Customer Service
Bought product to help 65-year-old to get back in shape. The product arrived promptly. In addition to the printed instructions, I found a Youtube video for assembly. Seeing someone build the product made the process so simple. The only issue was a missing plastic tube bushing. I called customer service and spoke to a very helpful person. All I had to do was give them the part number and they mailed out the missing part via priority mail which arrived in 3 days. I've bought hundreds of products from Amazon over the years, and this is the only review I've ever written. I felt the company's customer service was exceptional and they should be recognized.

Nice look
I have to say I like it. One bad note they forgot the pads and end caps for the bars. Over all good set up

Valor Fitness BF-47 Adjustable Bench - I don't like...
I don't like doing reviews in this way and I see them all the time on AMAZON. What I mean is that I feel a review should be based solely on the product itself. Taking starts away for your mood, customer service or anything else detracts from the item that is being reviewed. In this particular instance I am going a little against my own advice while trying to be true to the item. This was my experience: 1. The box came damaged. 2. The converging arms spindles were not machined at all and the bearings would not fit on them. 3. A weld was not welded properly. 4. Items were missing. 5. Instructions as with most of these is not good. If I could have built it I probably could have done so without just by using the picture as a guide. NOW... the item or product not withstanding itself would probably be decent especially at the price point of $254.00 when compared to others that either do the same or less at 2 or 3 times that price. As others mention this does not seem to be a unit that can handle much above what it states (250lbs total?) As with other machines I can think of a bunch of other things to make them better or worse for that matter. I can see for example on this there is an incline bench capability but it is only 1 single incline with no adjustments for higher or lower. A capability or addition to do over head presses would certainly not be out of the question on a machine like this or to much to ask for and perhaps they can be done on this machine but apparently not without some hassle. Manufacturers should always try and give more bang for the buck and they certainly would sell more as a result. The parts on this undoubtedly must be made in China and the quality control needs obvious improvement. I may endeavor to try this again but for now like i said if your one of the lucky ones that gets the item without all the issues I experienced then this might be a decent addition to your gym setup. I will give it 3 stars because I think that's what the machine is worth. It it had the improvements mentioned I might give it 4 or 5. If I used my emotions and disappointment in the way it was received I would as others often do have given this 1 star or less. I will say AMAZON c/s was pretty good.

This thing works great!
I gotta say this thing is worth every penny! The assembly instructions are definitely off in a few places but it's not hard to figure out. It seems to work great but I only had it for a couple weeks so far. It takes shoulders right out of the excercise! Nothing but chest and that's exactly what I was looking for.

I love it!
I work out daily and I needed a way to bench that did not require a spotter. This gym was not difficult to assemble. Take your time and follow the instructions step-by-step, and pay attention to the hardware needed for each step. I was done with the assembly in less than an hour. Very sturdy set up and the upward motion is smooth and allows for a noticeable flex of the pectoral muscles. I was somewhat skeptical given the price, but it's great. It also takes up very little room, which is great for a piece of home gym equipment. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. If what I described seems like what you're looking for, go for it....

Spotter Not Included
Another great piece of equipment from Valor Fitness. Spotter not included or needed. This is my third Valor purchase and not disappointed in any of them. Very well built and ball bearings no bushings. Another exercise you can use if for that Valor didn't mention is shrugs for your trapezius. If I had to come up with a negative it would be that I'm not use to benches this low to the floor which I easily corrected by placing it on 2x4's raising it up 1 1/2 inches. Also and it could only be the one I got, the leg hold for the sit-up feature is to close to the bench so my calves are pressed uncomfortably against the frame. Since I already have two ab machines I wasn't planning to us it anyways. CORRECTION, on the sit-up leg hold, I was doing it wrong. You put you feet under the frame not over the frame, now it works fine
