I purchased these straps for our trip to a top vacation destination! They were so helpful! We didn’t need to bring a car seat on this trip because we were only using onsite transportation, so we only needed something for the plane. These were so helpful and lightweight. They fit in my carry-on, and they were easy to install and remove. So much easier than a car seat, and my daughter was very comfortable.

We recently flew to Florida from Minnesota with our 16 month old. The first thing we did right is get a seat for our child. She is a toddler, which means she is ON THE MOVE. We chose rent a car seat when we got to our destination (a good experience!), but we wanted a way to recreate a car seat experience for take-off and landing.This worked perfectly. It was recommended on most of the mom blogs and I would agree. We boarded with our section (not early - heck no!) and easily slipped this on her seat. We tried it on a chair at home prior to getting to the airport to familiarize ourselves with how it functions. When we got to the seat we just kindly asked the person who sat behind us to lower their tray for a moment as we got it on and tighten it up. We strapped her in as the flight attendants started their safety check. She was strapped in just like her car seat and looked at books and played with toys she was familiar with having in the car.One tip: Because the seat was leather she tended to sink down and the chest clip would get too near her chin. We kept an eye on her positioning and adjusted as needed. When we arrived in Florida we purchased a small square of carpet "stay-in-place" gripper from Target. On the flight home we had her sit on that so she wouldn't slip and it worked like a charm! We now keep the gripper in the bag with the harness.

This product is a must need for parents with toddlers who fly. If you do not bring a car seat on a aircraft for your toddler you need something to restrain them in. This is safer than them being just in a seat belt. This also prevents them from standing up when they aren't supposed to. It is easy to install (make sure you do not stop the person's tray table behind you from being able to go down) and fits easily in your purse. It fits just like car seat straps do. Snug and secure.

We got this for our 23month old son. He flew before as a lap child and we said never again will he be. Lap child because he is too restless. We got on the plane and got the seatbelt connected which was very easy. Got Him in the shoulder straps And he was very calm for the most part during the two flights that were about two hours each. The only problem we had was he had access to the lapbelt that he would click open and close. Wish we knew about this product sooner

Makes traveling much easier, I constantly travel with my children. I didn't realize how important this product can be when i travel in the future. This is the second time i've purchased this product for my second child. Makes traveling far easier and better.

Perfect for my 3 year old. I've never been one to take our car seat through the airport and on to the plane with us. I can barely get on board with us and our carry ons. I've always felt guilty and been scared about how secure the seatbelts are and this definitely helped with that guilt and fear. Easy to install and easy to stick in a carry on.

It was awkward to request that the person behind us lower their tray table. I was not able to securely latch the seatback strap. Perhaps user error, but I have used a lot of straps successfully in my life. My son was uncomfortable wearing the harness. The lack of a crotch strap was problematic because he slid forward in the seat and required frequent propping up. On our connecting flight I didn't use it, and my son curled up in his seat, snuggled up to me, and slept. It was downright enjoyable, and I decided not to use it on our return flights either to similar success.
