Are these compatible with directv cable and will they work on back of directv receiver?

They are compatible with anything needing an "F" connector. I use them on the "Cable TV" input to my RV.

Where are these made?

Most things made in the US are proud to say "made in the USA" I tried to find these and couldn't although there are CESS manufacturing plants in Mexico and India, I'm going with China. However they work, and avoiding China is a futile battle unless you live in a cave. Names like Honeywell, Bell & Howell, and even Craftsman are simply marketing for Chinese products.
