My chickens are like my dog when they hear the crinkle of their treat bag they start going crazy. I’m not sure if they like them or just like the fact that they get to peck me when I go in to give them their little crispy dried worms but either way we both get joy from this chicken treat worm game. I have ordered several bags and they arrived quickly without any issues. The worms are slightly oily so they do not stick to my hands when I toss them out unlike real worms. I now have my chickens eating from the palms of my hands, got em right where I want them.... now if they would only learn to clean up after themselves. Update 8/29/2021: I recently read somewhere that it is not good to feed chickens mealworms or maybe not on a regular basis. I can’t remember exactly so I rarely give to them anymore. I recommend to do research before buying.

Great company and product!

I use these when my hens won’t go in their coop. They run inside when I sprinkle a few inside. My roosters will take them from my fingers and they are not tame. It’s a better deal money wise then buying at walmart who doesn’t always have them in stock.

I’ve purchased other mealworms for my chickens that looked as though the bag had been backed over by a Mack truck. No such issue with these. The worms are consistently plump and whole (with a reasonable, to-be-expected amount of less perfect ones at the end, probably due to my careless treatment of the bag more than anything).Decent value as well, especially considering the quality.

I just purchased the 5 lb bag of these mealworms since my girls go through them very quickly. They go bananas when they see the red bag; in fact, when I brought the bag out to the hen house yesterday to give them a treat, it was total anarchy - one of the girls even flew up and landed on my shoulder just so she could get her greedy beak in first, LOL! I don't understand the negative reviews. It does suck that the worms are imported from China but from what I understand, they don't process mealworms here in the U.S. I've bought this same brand at the local farmer's supply store as well as the local grain mill and they smell/look exactly the same as the ones from Amazon. This bag was in good shape too, not smashed and broken up mealworms. I've had issues with the bottom of the bag being powdery with the Amazon ones as well as the store bought ones, but seeing how they are dried out and crispy worms, I'm not surprised that this occurs.

Never a disappointment with mealworms. The chickens eat them up like crazy. They may not be from the USA which I read people complaining about, but there are others ones people can buy that are. These are awesome, crack for chickens.

Apparently, my chickens love this stuff. Every time I walk out the door with these mealworms, I become the center of attention to my five lovely yard hens. They follow me around the yard until I grab this bag of chicken crack out of my shed. We will buy again!
