To start off, the packaging is excellent. The product is of high quality even though it is plastic and not metal. The sliding door feels firm. The rear has a power switch, USB Type-B port, and a DC-in port. Inside the sliding door are a standard SATA power and SATA connector for data transfer. This is compatible with almost ALL present Desktop/Laptop 3.5"/2.5" hard disks / SSDs. Please note that very old IDE drives do not work.Pros:1. Great quality.2. Drives fit firmly.3. Works as described.4. LED indicators are colorful and give a nice appeal to the product.Cons:1. Not portable as you need external power. You cannot carry this case and use your hard disk as an external hard disk as you always need a power supply to power this on.2. USB 2.0 is slower and you will find a noticeably reduced performance while using SSDs.3. This has a USB Type-B connector (commonly used on printers) rather than the Micro USB Type-B which is used on most external hard drives. So you will need different cables if you are handling this case and other external drives.4. Too big for a 2.5" drive. 2.5" drives can power with USB alone and smaller cases can be found. I would recommend a smaller enclosure if you have only a 2.5" drive and these smaller ones can be portable.5. Tried copying huge files. Every attempt failed. The connection disconnects after approximately 20GB of data copied. The case is not too hot. This happened with all my hard drives so the problem is with the case. I have not tried if the same problem occurs while reading from the drive but writing to it is definitely giving me this issue. (Could be my computer causing the problem so I am not reducing the product rating until I know for sure).Overall: This is the best case out there that I have used. The price is totally worth it.

Product is okay and easy to use. Fully working on Windows 10. But there was no seal on the package, product was not even in a plastic bag, there should be some foam like things which will hold the hard drive tightly in it's place but that is missing. Otherwise product is fully operational and Amazon delivery is amazing.

It's a great HDD enclosure for 3.5 inch hard disks. I've been using it for a while now and even ran it 24x7 for a whole week and its performed great without any issues. For the price , it's hard to find a similar product and I would really recommend it. It's not really quiet and does make a little bit of noise but that's not really a problem.

Easy to use

This product was not at all as I expected it to be. It corrupted my hard disk. With all my important data gone, I urge my peers and friends not to buy this product at all cost.Now, in order to recover data from my drive, I have to spend around 5k. This is totally unacceptable from a brand like Amazon, a travesty of your good service. Will you people compensate me, who's been your regular patron? A chance at redemption.

Best for the guys who are switching from their desktops to laptops. Your data in the pc hardisk became easily accessible.Some can find it a little difficult in mobility because it needs a separate power supply, but for 500 to 600rs it is best buy.

It's good for and easy to use,

Good product, fits both laptop and desktop Hard drive in it. The laptop hdd fits just fine but try to use some sort of packing under the hdd so as to keep it safe from vibration. Desktop hdd fits perfectly and needs no packing.There is no proper ventilation so if you gonna use it for long time then i would suggest to keep the top cover half open, it won't affect your performance but your hdd won't heat up.Quality is plasticity comes with adapter, usb cable. Data transfer rate is OK.Recommended to those who are thinking to buy new external hdd when they have spare running condition laptop or desktop hdd.If you have any spare hdd, use this to save a big chunk.
