7 DAYS & TATTOO IS DONE HEALING!
So I purchased a roll of this stuff after I had a pretty bad infection with a tattoo.. I work construction, so it was really hard to keep a fresh tattoo clean. All the reviews I have read about this second skin is people crying about the residue that it leaves on your skin when you take it off.. So let me clear the air...YES: THIS PRODUCT WORKS AND DOES WHAT ITS MEANT TO DO! STICK ON AND KEEP YOUR TATTO CLEAN! Free of germs! In a sealed Antimicrobial environment! So your body can heal the thousands of puncture wounds in your skin.Yes: It does leave a residue on your skin when you remove it. Sorry it doesn't just fall off like a bandaid Wich I'm sure glad it doesnt.. because it's supposed to keep that area sealed until the wounds are finished healing! It's not magic how it stays on your skin for a whole week. It's adhesives! I'll take some residue left over on my tattoo, then have it get infected, spending weeks to heal, and oh yea having it get infected!YES!: I GET A 7 DAY AND DONE HEAL TIME ON MY TATTOOS THANKS TO THIS STUFF! I am a well tattooed person, and have been getting tattooed since I was 15, and I'm 33 now. So for 18 years I did the old school, antibacterial soap, lotions, tattoo creams, blah blah blah. It's all the same. It takes about 3 weeks to heal, with scabbing, dry itchy skin, and oh yea sometimes infections.. this product makes it so easy to heal a tattoo. Put it on and that's it.When you apply the bandaid, make sure you pop the air bubbles.. air bubbles will allow your kind to sweat under the bandaid and lift it. Make sure it's a good deal all the way around.. and if a corner starts lifting up. Cut a little piece and use it like tape.. and tape the lifted piece down with itsself.TO REMOVE: After a week and your tattoo or wound is Heald.. let the bandage sit in warm/hot water... A bath or just a hot shower works.. start at the top and start peeling it back. Baby oil or Cocoanut oil helps. Get the skin hot and peel it off.. keep the water hot and work the residue off your skin.. I use a rag soaked up in coconut oil.. and in 3-5mins. Your done. Tattoo healed, done!I am actually replacing Band-Aids with this product.. you get a cut, bam cut the size you need and it heals!GREAT PRODUCT! I was not paid or given any discount for this review.

Essential for tattoo healing!
Amazing product. The size of the roll, in addition to the grid on the backing make this super easy to cut to fit your anatomy. I had my right upper arm done in full color. I allowed the tattoo to shed its plasma for the first 24 hours (as directed by my artist), washed thoroughly, applied a very thin layer of A&D ointment to the ink only, and applied the dressing. I left the dressing for 4 days. By day 4, the tattoo had begun to dry out in spots and needed a good wash. The removal on day 4 was a process. It took over a half hour in a hot shower, with soap to break down the adhesive. The adhesion is absolutely no joke, and I had little bruises all around my arm after removing. I went on with regular washing and unscented lotion, as one does after the first few days of healing.Despite the trouble removing, I’m still thrilled with the result. I had no scabbing at all. I went straight to the molting and peeling phase. This definitely put me days to a week ahead of the healing timeline, had I not used the dressing.I will not get another tattoo and not use this dressing. Goodness knows I have yards and yards left on the roll I purchased.

Good but not the best quality in the market
I applied this on a piece of skin first (with no tattoo). reading the comments made me afraid of demaging my tattoo and the glue not coming off like a few people complained about.I tested two pieces. One with my skin cleaned, and one with a little bit of ointment (literally) just on the very middle of the bandage, so the surroundings were not on ointment. The bandage doesn’t adhere if the borders have any kind of cream on the skin. But applying only on the middle did the magic.I applied healing balm on my tattoo, a thin layer.. and made sure the bandage borders were not on the ointment. I wore it overnight and it’s a bit uncomfortable on the elbow pit for a few hours until it gets more flexible.I went to the gym and sweat a lot! Hence I found the best time to remove the bandage since my skin was hot. It peeled off (just fine) once I got home. No glue residue and barely any pain. This bandage isn’t as great quality as Saniderm. However, I enjoy that the price is lower because differently then Saniderm’s purpose, I’m a germophobic and I would not leave any kind of bandage on my skin for days straight like people are doing. I think that’s disgusting... surgeons order bandages to be cleaned up (most of the time) at least every other day, if they leave for days, the patient is in bedrest and not walking and going about their life, sweating and etc.. I’m a nurse and I sweat a lot. I’d rather pay for a cheaper version and be able to change the bandage every 24 hours or less. But if you’re sedentary and don’t sweat much then go for itWith that being said. It’s day 2 of my tattoo, and it’s been healing wonderfully. I don’t believe I’ll need over 7 days of supply. But I’d appreciate if the manufacturer did a better “quality proof” inspection on the rolls. These bubbles made me throw a lot of pieces out, which upsets me and it’s the reason why I’m giving this product 4 stars.
