Not as warm glow vintage as i expected, but they do the job.

They look nice, but I would not recommend using with a dimmer. I installed 2 and they flickered with a dimmer switch constantly. Installed the third and it worked OK for 1/2 day then started to flicker. They work OK on standard non-dimmer switched.

Like most people I struggled with numerous candles sorted around my parlor. Inevitably this would oftentimes lead to the most wild in fires and the resulting destitution and inevitable visit to the work house. This electric candle of the Edison variety was a most welcome addition to my home. I cannot hardly wait for my home and city to be electrified so I can partake of its light and heat some day. In the mean while we, each evening, sit and wonder at this glass orb and how it may one day glow bright while we partake in our evening prayers. For now we rely on the glimmer from the cast iron stove.

Choose these bulbs for their design and felt they would work perfectly for our chosen light fitting.The additional requirement was to find bulbs that were dimmable, which they are..... Want the effect of softer mood lighting over the dining room table.The only downside was we purchased two packs (3 bulbs per pack). Sad to report that on opening the second pack, one bulb was broken. Due to the system, we have to return the pack, obtain a refund and go through the order process all over again to obtain a new pack of 3.Thought it a pity that we couldn't send photo evidence and have 1 bulb sent to us. The young lady at Amazon explained the system and was very kind and helpful.Fingers crossed that the next pack comes with 3 perfect bulbs and we can get our new light fitting working.

The first bulbs sent had marks and scratches but replacements were sent immediately which I am very grateful for.
