Elegant Yarns Kaleidoscope Yarn, Forest

I have bought twelve different Elegant Yarns Kaleidoscope color-ways. None has disappointed me. Each one is a delightful surprise. Surprise because the skein image can't always show the whole color scheme. But they are beautifully designed. I wonder who is the designer. Well done! I am using this yarn for felting projects. It works well in the hand, solf and yielding. It felts perfectly for me. A few of the skeins had a knot or two, but most didn't . Also, the name of the color on the page is not on the yarn wrapper, and the number on the wrappper is not on the page. Keep track! I should write this review for each color I bought because there doesn't seem to be a main Kaleidoscope page.

I am in love with this yarn. It is super soft. The colors are gorgeous. It is so easy for me to knit with. I cannot wait to finish the blanket I am making.

Colors are vibrant and gorgeous and it knits/crochets like a dream. It was multiple pieces though, knotted together. The width of the yarn also changed quite a bit throughout the skein and in a couple places I had to twist it to get it back to a stable yarn.

This is probably not a fair review as I really don't like working with wool..all the little hairs bother me! But the yarn is easy to work with, a little splitting, but not bad. No knots so far. Colors are pretty, a little on the muted side. Haven't worked much with stripped yarn, but seems to be on the long side. Not great stitch definition, at least with the pattern I'm working with. Hope this review is not too slanted due to my inexperience.

very thin and need at least 6 of these to make an afghan -and hard to find colors when needed

I bought this yarn for a crochet/felting project. It was easy to work with and felted perfectly. The yarn itself wasn't perfectly uniform. Some areas were thinner than others but it wasn't drastic enough to affect the finished project.

I didn't get "forest" from this color combination at all. The photo is definitely misleading to how it actually looks. More blues and purples. Hardly any green. It is fun to work with but not too comfortable.
