great for emergencies and on the road
Lifesaver! With 5 kids we have to plan for the unexpected. We keep this in the back of the SUV for emergencies. Have only had to use it 3 times but kids were fairly comfortable using it since it felt more like a real toilet. I tried the portable potties for toddlers but they were not used to the feel and would not go!I do use this with bio bags and diapers we've outgrown to catch the liquids. We also have the bio powder but haven't tried that yet. We also purchased a shower pop up tent in case we need more privacy. It's a tad smaller than the "round" shaped toilet seats you would buy for the real thing. That's not a bad thing as we were able to set up inside the main cabin of the SUV between third and 2nd row seats when 2nd row seat was folded out of the way. It's very lightweight and goes without saying if your kids can't balance themselves you will have to make sure it won't tip while they're on it. Worked for my 2 year olds as well as 8 year olds. I don't remember the weight limit but make sure you check as it doesn't look like it would hold more than 200 lbs.Set up does take a few seconds to get the seat clipped on and the bag secured so don't wait until the very last minute! The seat comes with a bag "holder" to keep the bag from slipping. With 7 people it's great to have an extra toilet for camping, and even hotel rooms!

Works as it should
We used this last week during pandemic to avoid using public restrooms at camp ground. It worked just fine but a few things should be noted. The stand was steady if you are a person who is steady on their feet and the ground is level. Do not expect it to hold for someone over 200 lbs or is older and needs support. The same problem could happen for the very young if they can't reach the ground when using. We brought along a small plastic tub ( rectangle) that fit between legs to support the bag in case of leaking or falling off when using just to avoid anything getting in the tent. Once the bag was sealed ( tied) we left it in the plastic tub and put on the next one. This also helped us for when we had to carry the bags to dispose of them in a dump station or for us at home in the toilet after we returned. They didn't smell after sealing but we only were out two days so they might if left longer . It worked just as we wanted and kept us out of public restrooms or the outside in the middle of the night. I'd recommend.

Small, ring fits, convenient
I like this one. Can't lean on it or grab it for balance - itll fall apart. Just sit and stand. Ring fits, so I wasn't concerned about bag slippage and it worked well. The white bags were sturdy but fully plastic and not biodegradable. I'm trying different biodegradable bags and the pads that solidify the liquid for overnight, multiple uses. I don't recall how much weight it should hold. But it'll probably hold someone about 160-175 lbs without worry. It gives a lil when u sit, but is well constructed, enough, for a small and easy to use commode. 👍

Cheap and not useful.
Not strong at all.

Collapses at the most inopportune times
I have never used a portable toilet before and I didn't want to invest a lot before I discovered what I want in a commode. I have a camper van and I don't have to run out in the middle of the night to pee. I've been using this with trash compactor bags, which I highly recommend. They are thick and won't leak and reach all the way to the ground without any chance of falling.I was satisfied with the glorified pee in a bag setup more than I thought I would be until this one time I had to pull over for an emergency stop that was most certainly not just pee. I'm not particularly heavy, 175 lbs., but when I sat on it with my full weight it collapsed. Luckily there wasn't any mess due to the oversized bag I was using, but I still don't trust it to actually sit on. You can just lightly hover over it or balance on it. It has collapsed a couple more times since then even when I wasn't putting my full weight on it.I really like the folding seat design. It's lightweight and easy to store, but I will be replacing it with a sturdier version for my next trip. The plastic of the seat is too soft and it will slip off the metal frame at the worst moment.

Normally we have to be like everyone else who's boondocking and go behind the dunes
Bought this for camping at the beach. I stay on a beach miles from any facilities for a few days at a time. Normally we have to be like everyone else who's boondocking and go behind the dunes. It's unpleasant at it's best. So I had this idea and started looking for the luggable loo... this fold up piece came up in a search and I thought for space saving reasons this would be the way to go. It takes up not enough room to notice when folded in the back of my truck. It arrived super quick. Well packaged. We set it up and "dry" tested it for strength.. I'm about 150 lbs and my fiance is about 220 lbs... no issues. It's much smaller than a normal toilet seat so you will have to get used to that but definitely not an issue. It does flex at the joints when you sit on it which scared me a little but we sat a bunch of times and it really is just the feet moving on a smooth surface. We will be blacking it on our 3'/3' plywood we use for a jack stand on the beach. It comes with 6 bags. We probably will never order replacements as grocery store bags fit perfectly and if you double bag them, no worries there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a portable toilet. We also ordered a collapsible changing room to put it in for privacy. Looks like camping on the beach got a little more "luxurious" hahahha
