| Product Care Instructions | The collar should never be worn for more than 2 hours per day at first and 10 hours maximum after 4 to 8 weeks. Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 10 hours per day. Keep away from children at all times. Not recommended for dogs younger than 4 month old. Seek professional help if your dog becomes aggressive during bark reduction training. Observe your dog’s reaction to the stimulation before leaving them alone. Dogtra recommends consulting your physician if you have any type of medical devices. The dog collar receiver and transmitter are fully waterproof. |

This is my second Dogtra. I tried two cheaper models, but they didn't work consistently and their range was very short. This is easy to use. Make sure you take the time to teach your dog that the stimulation from the collar is coming from you. They won't automatically know, and w/o knowing that the collar is worse than useless. You should also be absolutely certain they know the command well before you use the collar as a correction. My very sweet but independent and willful Schip had an excellent recall. But there were times she looked at me and decided, "Nah, I'm doing something else". It took very little from this collar (level 10 of 127 - a level I can barely feel) to show her that I could reach out and touch her 20' feet away - or clear across the meadow. Just like that, she started obeying w/o stopping to decide if she wanted to do something else instead. Awesome.

Easy to use
Have just started using it; it is very easy to use. So far my dogs are acclimating to the pager function. After a little time I will move to acclimate them to stimulation. Control of the unit is very easy.
