Just what I wanted for my husband who is bed-ridden. Has a nice clear ring with a pleasant almost musical sound. It's rather handsome, and big enough for him to reach it on the bedside table without knocking everything else off. The only thing is he forgets to use it, but I'm told I'm lucky as some people never stop ringing once they realise it's there.

Excellent bell and loudness for Caregiver’s required assistance. I have tried a smaller bell. I still have excellent hearing, but the larger bell has a more distinctive and louder ring than the smaller sweeter ring. We live in a two-story American townhouse structure.

I found this product rather unsatisfactory. The bell was delivered without the metal ball that should have been in it. How do I use a bell without the ‘ball’? Unfortunately, I have to return this product because it is unusable in its present condition.
