Worth the price.
Exactly as described, sturdy product and very happy with my purchase. Went to buy a second but they are currently out of stock. Some things to note:-it’s not plug and play, you have to download the LCD-show files and use an attached monitor to unzip the files and install needed drivers-display works but is slightly laggy, any adjustment to the /boot/config.txt (speed=40000000,FPS=60) causes the colors of the screen to become distorted.-display is mainly for simple output, if you wanna watch movies I would recommend connecting via the HDMI port-still would recommend this to others, pretty neat package and comes with a case, super slim form factor.-case traps heat so I would recommend getting thermal heat sinks for chips needing cooling-display doesn’t turn off on power down, you either have to figure out an advance config to change this or just unplug the entire pi from its power source

Good luck installing the drivers for this screen. The vendor is only interested in selling it.
I'm a tech savvy person and I cannot get this screen to work. I've built liquid cooled computers from the ground up and I can't get the drivers for this screen installed. The vendor sends the same response to all of the people complaining about the same thing. A direct download link and a two minute youtube video could solve all of the problems.

Nightmare
Finding the coding to get the screen to work is a nightmare

Nice case
May be able to print if you had 3d printer. Touch screen doesn't work well with Kali.

Not Waveshare, but good enough for me
CAUTION!Just an FYI, this is not an authentic Waveshare brand screen. It is a knock-off. I suspected when purchasing and was prepared to accept that, but it would have been better to know what I was receiving. No brand name was mentioned. Asking the customer to email requests for drivers isn't exactly professional, either. All that said, it was super cheap, quite durable looking (only had it a day so far) and I am very excited to start using it. I have been around the block with Linux a lot (lots of command line, etc) and the drivers were SUPER easy to install for me. If you are not used to command line at all, it will be difficult. But if you can grit your teeth through a few commands, it isn't too hard.I have only had the screen working with a server edition of Raspian (no GUI desktop), but I am sure it will work fine with a GUI desktop. It was a little difficult to get the Raspberry PI to click into place on the case. It is rugged and doesn't give much. Just be careful and use a plastic spudger or something plastic to wedge it in (not a screw driver). The screen had a few millimeters of offset on one side. A little bit of an eye sore. There was no documentation with the device and I had to figure it all out on my own (assembly, etc). Easy for me to figure out, but not everyone. The rest is all praise. It is a real treat of a device/project. I only mention the above to prepare others since there was only one other review. That review was helpful, but I wanted to add my notes. Would have received 5 stars, but a few things added up enough to warrant a 4 star review.

great quality, but you need to install the drivers manually
it worked as its intended only after manually installing the drivers, still runs well with good touch feed back

It works at good price and little package.
It is exactly what I wanted. It works great and at a good price. Wish it had more vents on the side or something.
