I have candy cookbooks that I like better. I took this out of the library & will be taking it out again. Great for the beginning confectioner, but it also has some recipes for someone more advanced (interesting recipes but not difficult) If you get this book & like the recipes in it, I would suggest going to about.com. They have a candy-making section that is fabulous with everything from super simple to advanced.If you want to know if this book is for you, go to your local library. If they don't have a copy there is always the option of the Inter-Library Loan procedure (books usually take about 3 weeks to arrive). I almost always preview books from the library before purchasing ... it has saved a lot of disappointment

Really good condition for a second hand book. I have made over 20 of the recipes and they are really easy to follow. I build sweet recipes for Christmas and this book was absolutely fantastic.

Love this book! If you like baking and creating then you will love this! the recipes are easy to follow and easy to do. I personally made 3 of the truffles (cappuccinos, dark choc truffles and champagne) for a food hamper. The methods are easy to read and the help and advice at the begging is brilliant if you are just starting out when making sweets.Perfect book to get you started.

Good enough book, a bit dated. Cover in sticky greasy condition, not pleasant to touch.

Came with the library record insert on the first page that it had not been returned to. Some damage and wear and tear to the cover.
