not too much to say other than delivered in great condition on time. just what i needed

I was searching all over for the upright extensions for the Rubbermaid Configurations Closet system with no luck. Then I happened on this item and ordered one to see if it fits. It looks to me like it is identical to the Configurations upright extensions that came in the closet kit I purchased. Rubbermaid also has a Fasttrack Garage system, which is not the same dimensions as the closet system and not compatible with Configurations. I have only been able to find used connectors on eBay to hang the extension from the Configurations long upright. So that will have to do to hang these extensions on my closet system. NOTE; This is a review for the Fasttrack CLOSET System upright extensions.

Small DIY project just finished and very pleased. I had leftover brackets and shelves from a Rubbermaid closet system; but, needed short uprights. The same exact item on a big box store website is over $17 each - so the shown discount with Amazon is accurate and I saved $25.The listing should be changed though regarding hardware. There isn't any. But, what type of hardware depends on the application - drywall anchors, wood screws, or toggle bolts. If you notice my application the shelves are biased to one side. I used wood screws in order to hit the studs. ($1.25 for a pack of six screws.) I also had to hacksaw 2 inches off of each shelf to fit in the space between a wall and existing cabinets. We opted for simplicity over aethetics - given its in a laundry room.

I’ve used the closet Rubbermaid systems in all closets in my house. They’ve saved me from having to buy dresser drawers for my little bedrooms!

It is stated in description that hardware is included. The hardware did not come with the racks. Discouraging when you’re ready to set it up and have to stall because you don’t have everything it said it came with.

Unable to use the product, NOTICE the price is per piece the picture shows a COMPLETE shelf. Purposely to mislead the customers understanding.So if you want to purchase this shelf double the price on each piece; because the picture advertised as a whole shelf, IT IS MISLEADING!!!!!

Besides the description being misleading as far as included hardware (wall anchors, corresponding screws) in the Q&A Rubbermaid associates are misleading potential customers telling them hardware is included.One more time - NO Hardware - None!!This is a huge inconvenience, especially when your explicitly told the opposite. Also, some of my uprights looked repackaged so then someone didn't include the hardware.

It should at least include the screws or the connector. But all you get is the upright.Fortunately, I was using these to expand an existing closet, and I had many leftover parts (rails, screws, wall anchors, etc.) from several Rubbermaid closet kits. So I just attached another rail below the existing uprights and hung these uprights from that. It's probably stronger now than it would have been otherwise.But I'm still only assigning 3 stars since the description is very misleading.
