Fobus GL43NDA Evolution Ankle Holster for Glock 43, 43x, 48

While this is comfortable on your ankle, it’s a bit bulky. While the firearm I carry in it is very lightweight, the holster is quite heavy. Even with cinching down the strap on your ankle as much as possible, pulling the firearm pulls the whole thing up, even after adjusting the retention screws.

I want to give the holster a 5 star review because I like it a lot. However, I am skinny and have thin ankles. Unfortunately the hide used on the backside of this holster bunches up when attempting to wrap around my thin ankle. This causes a loose fit and the whole rig slides down to my foot. So I'd say if you're a normal built man or woman this is probably a great holster. If you're on the thin side then stick to one that is only neoprene all around.

I kind of have mixed feelings about this ankle holster.. It is quite comfortable to wear. I got it for my Glock 43 specifically as a back up, but it is so difficult to draw from the holster. I've also adjusted the retention screw to make it very loose. I also know with Fobus passive retention holsters you are suppose to quickly and firmly draw straight up. But this one I have to wrestle with a good bit. If I was ever in a situation where I needed to draw my 43 quickly from the ankle it would be difficult. Also the holster definitely did not come from Israel, it arrived pretty quick from a U.S. address.

Got it today, imedialtely put in on and snapped my G43 in...comfy, a couple 2-3 adjustments...a little retention adjustment...BOOM!!!.......YES!!! HAPPY!!!....VERY WELL MADE!!!! .but caveat emptor(buyer beware)...I tried it with my typical every day pants...forget Levis....I would imagine skinny jeans are out of the question, ..yea, Iike I wear those...loose fitting cargo pants: fine...well made, comfy...good product

I work in law enforcement and this is my first ankle holster that I've ever used. Over the past 2 months of use, I have been thoroughly impressed with the efficiency and low profile of this holster. I have a polyester uniform and this thing slips under the pant leg and conceals easily. It has not once come loose even after chasing and wrestling with suspects. It stays tight to my ankle. The retention is pretty tight because there isnt a strap over the beavertail but as a backup gun I'm OK with that as I don't need the gun falling out in the midst of my duties. Highly recommend this holster!*I'm left handed and wear it on the inside of my right ankle*

I’ve worn an uncle mikes ankle holster for over a decade and loved it. I wanted to get a new one, and decided on fobus because of other products I’ve owned in the past. This is a poor design though for two reasons. First unless you have a boot or high tennis shoe on, it will dig into your ankle and it is so uncomfortable it truly hurts! Second, drawing from a fobus Holster on the hip and drawing from one on the ankle are two different things. It’s very easy on the former but difficult to get the gun out on the latter. I recommend something Nylon with a thumb break for both comfort and assurance that when you go to pull it, it comes right up off your ankle instead of dragging the Holster up your leg.

Fit well, comfortable for hours. Didn't take more than a few hours of wear to feel comfortable wearing on the ankle. I carry a G-43, I prefer wearing this "right hand" holster on my right ankle. This gives it more of a parallel angle, and fits well under jean pant legs.

This is the best ankle holster. Able to tighten securely enough to the ankle to make it stable to draw. Has soft leather like backing that makes it comfortable. Issued this for off duty/back up and able to wear on duty and run with it.Only down side is it is a little bulky but it is still able to be hidden by jeans or duty pants.Buy this holster you won’t be disappointed.
