Nice little book. Most details that I already knew.

This is a nice little book. A limited look at the vintage bikes of British lore. Not very thorough. Small black and white photos. Interesting because it covers models and riders that other books don't. Focused on the older bikes, mostly from the twenties and thirties. Beautiful cover illustration, as you can see. Small size and less than 30 pages mean it is a snippet, not a full meal. Still, I give it a good rating and say, if you're into the old bikes and riders, this is one you'll want to get to round out the collection.On a personal note, I'd like to say that the guys who rode back then were the real deal, not lot lizard posers and idiot grip twisters like we see so much of today. Back then you got dirty and oily and you might get killed doing what we take for granted today. Hats off to the old timers.

I paid 11.95 for a 30 page booklet. Very disappointed. It is really more of a pamphlet than a book.
