Its performs pretty well and looks good. Just don't tighten too hard it will break.

I've been making a bunch of different styles of bracelets with this (braided, macrame knotted, chan luu, etc.) and with different bead sizes, and I love it. It is easy to work with because it is pre-waxed so the beads slide easier, but then the wax also holds the knots in place tighter than other types of cord, and you don't have to wax it yourself like I have with other cord in the past.I've used hemp cord, paper string, and leather, and although leather is the closest competitor, it's so much more expensive the amount you get for the money with the waxed Irish linen can't be beat. I just can't see a downside to using this over the leather. You can get it in black and cream too.Also, the company that stocks this (or did when I bought it) Beadaholique, has absolutely AMAZING tutorials. They're really helpful. Hopefully I won't get in trouble for saying that, but watching their YouTube vids and using their site helped me go from knowing absolutely nothing, to being able to make jewelry like it's a reflex, so...I think they deserve a little shout-out ;)

The string feathers and breaks away too easily! Cannot hold a necklace together! This is the second roll this has happened with and I am returning and can’t afford to create anything as this strings pulls apart!

Works great for what I need. The wax makes it easy to bind when needed. I do hate the waxy feeling but it works really well and it goes away after a while.

Fine production

Bought this for my wife to use in binding some small sketch books together and she said it works great. It's definitely waxy and that helps it hold in place when she's tying the knots. It's a good dark brown.

I've tried a few hemp and jute strings recently. They're too think to easily bead, and they unravel a little with every attempt to thread a bead. This waxed linen is definitely the way to go - thinner than the hemp I've tried and softer, pliant, but won't unravel easily when threading on a bead. I definitely intend to buy this again.

Have not been able to find this product in brown in any bead store. Just what I needed.

The cord arrived on time and I'm happy with the quality of it. I will using it for bracelets.
