Removes the vague feel of the OEM clutch
The headline says it all! I will say, this install is very straightforward but uncomfortable if you're a larger (fat) person and you don't enjoy being half upside in the driver-side foot well. Otherwise, it really does remove quite a bit of that vague clutch feel that the OEM spring seems to introduce. I've been driving manuals for 20 years and never felt anything like this from a factory car. Thank goodness for this spring mod.

Feels way better to shift with and decrease chances of stalling
Way better than driving with the stock spring. Annoying to install but worth it. Took my about 45mins to install. I can feel the balance better also take note when watching install videos on YouTube, don’t even bother trying banging a hammer with a screw driver to get the pin out just put the flat head against it and push on it and it will come out easy. It took me so long to install because all the video tutorials tell you to bang it with a hammer but I constantly failed at attempts until I just applied pressure with the flat head and it popped right out.

This spring is the perfect midpoint between the clutch feel and the spring assist. Highly recommended, for any FRS, 86 or BRZ owner.

Small improvement for a small price.
The installation of this item is a little tricky because of its location (especially the e-clip installation). It doesn't make a huge difference, but there is a slight improvement in pedal feel and the price was not very expensive, so definitely worth it in my opinion.

Must have mod, even if you don't mod your cars
If the clutch came like this from the factory I wouldn't second guess it. The pedal is still light and easy to use, but now has a consistent catchpoint that you can actually feel. I'm a fairly experienced driver and even I would stall this car in traffic from time to time due to the overly strong OEM clutch spring. It's been three months since installing this spring and I haven't stalled since.DISCLAIMER: Use or purchase a LONG prybar or screwdriver to install this spring. It'll save you about an hour of frustration. If you have this tool, it shouldnt take more than 30 minutes to install.
