Feosol Ferrous Sulfate Iron Supplement Therapy, Tablets - 125 ea (Pack of 2)

Received my order today from AmericaRx - 2 bottles of 125 tabs = 250 day supply. Both bottles have an EXP DATE of "1 1 12". This is only 232 days. Most likely no problem, but I do prefer a "fresher" product.

I ONLY BOUGHT THESE BECAUSE IT WAS 2 BOTTLES FOR THE PRICE OF ALMOST ONE. HOWEVER, EACH BOTTLE CONTAINED 125 TABLETS AND BY THE TIME YOU TAKE ONE PER DAY (250 DAYS) THEY BOTH WOULD HAD EXPIRED SINCE THE EXPIRATION FOR BOTH OF THEM IS 10/13. THAT IS HARDLY A DEAL BECAUSE WHO WANTS TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT WILL EXPIRE BEFORE YOU COULD FINISH TAKING THEM. THIS IS NOT THE TABLET ITSELF BUT WHO I PURCHASED IT FROM.

It cost a lot less on Amazon.com than it did at our local Walmart which is the cheapest price in the area for the same brand of iron pills.

I've taken this product in the past and I am currently taking it now. Under my doctor's supervision, I'm taking more than the recommended daily dosage. It does require that I drink copious amounts of liquid to avoid constipation. Additional dietary fiber helps too.As my body has become accustomed to the iron, I have been able to take the pills with milk or juice. However, when I first started my regimen, I had to take the pills with a meal to avoid stomach upset. I've had two blood tests since I've started my regimen and my iron levels are greatly improved and so has my energy levels.I DO NOT recommend exceeding the daily recommended dosage without doctor's supervision and testing to ensure that you do not harm yourself.This is a great product to add to your daily regimen if you don't get enough iron in your normal diet.

I was excited to get these delivered to my door today considering the delivery time and price compared to the that of the grocery store. Also because I take these for my anemia and had run out a few days ago, but couldn't get to the store for just having had a baby. However, when I went to open one of the bottles, the seal on it was BROKEN! I didn't even bother to count and see if all the pills were there, I just put the lid back on the bottle, closed it back up in the box & came online to print out a RETURN label. One thing I will NOT do is take any form of medication that comes in an damaged/tampered with/open bottle! I order a lot of items off of amazon.com monthly, but had never ordered any medicines before. Now I don't think I will be ordering any form of medicine again. I wish I had had the good experience others had had.

Feosol is the best iron supplement out there! It is gentler on the stomach, and that is crucial for me. I recommend having some food in your stomach...after breakfast, or a light snack. I tried taking it on an empty stomach, I could taste it for an hour after....not pleasant.I take only one a day, it's been two weeks, and I can feel the difference =) More energy!! Before taking the iron, activia was all I needed in the poop regulation dept., but now I have to add more fiber.This is a great price for 2 bottles of Feosol. This product really is the best for those who have to take an iron supplement!

These were close to expiration date when I received them.

Thankfully, Feosol is an iron supplement that did not create any digestive issues or upsets for us.
