Did not fit my kenmore refrigerator.

Did the trick and seems to be working fine. I was concerned with the part number, but it ended up fitting my refrigerator/ freezer perfectly. Definitely do your homework when ordering them, they have different sizes and clockwise and counterclockwise opening springs. I took the short cut and didn't even really remove anything, just used needle nose pliers to put them on.

This spring worked like a charm on my Kenmore refrigerator door. The old spring broke and the door wasn't closing properly. In the worst situations, we wouldn't notice and the door would be slightly ajar for hours at a time.This little spring fixed the problem and only took about 10mins to replace. Most of that time was just figuring out how to replace it the first time too. I'm fairly certain I could replace the spring in half that time or less now that I know how everything goes together. It only took 1 spring so I even have a spare for the future (pretty sure the spring will wear out again)So why 4 stars? The price. $10 is alot of money for 2 tiny springs. I think $5-6 would have been more appropriate, buuuut at least it fixed the problem and saved me a repairman visit.

This product arrived as advertised and it did just what I wanted. It fit my door and you tube showed me how to replace it. Another appliance company wanted $15 for shipping a $4 spring part and told me it would arrive in 2 or 3 weeks. Another appliance company claimed the spring was not separate and I need to buy the whole mullion for $80 and shipping. I spent $9 and two screws on the door and 10 minutes of my time and it was fixed. Thanks for a great product and I also have a spare for the future. That's like getting two for one.

Was able to fix my refrigerator with a little bit of work but nothing I couldn't handle. Now my refrigerator closes properly and I don't have to worry about someone other than myself opening and closing the doors correctly. The video on one of the reviews was a tremendous help.

I had to bend the wire and try it many ties until it worked. not everyone could do this
