Zycom Zinger 3 Wheel Scooter

Repeat purchase.Positives - Rated to 80kg. Brilliant steering. Moves quickly with little effort. Easier to use because has two front wheels. First zinger bought for my just-turned-4 year old boy, after careful research by his Daddy (bit of an over-achiever). Second zinger bought for me (5'8, exasperated with Daddy, < 80kg) so I can keep up with said boy, who is now almost 5 years old and very fond of his scooter. I cannot imagine how completely ridiculous I look riding this, and think it may not be very good for my knees! But it's a lot of fun once you learn to fit both feet on the board and use the brake properly. (And better/safer than the SClub7/Lee Evans style mime needed to call back small, badly trained, slightly deaf boys who have scooted off too far; and without attracting the attention of more competent parents, headed to the school playground, than I). Maybe look at helmets and gloves too if you live anywhere hilly!Negatives - Can be a bit of a nuisance to pull the sprung part out of its folded position if you aren't very strong, but pops up and packs away smoothly once you have the hang of it.- prone to tipping if you run into large sticks or debris as they jam under the front wheels (low clearance), or if you place feet too far forward on the board (the boy seems to have less trouble here than I).-Wouldn't recommend to anyone taller than 5'6 due to maximum handlebar height. But then you are buying this for a kid, right? :)

Really pleased with my purchase! Got this scooter for my sons 6th birthday. He still wanted a tri scooter so had been on the hunt for some time! He had a mini micro scooter previously so was considering getting the one up when the Zycom scooter caught my eye and for £55 you can’t go wrong. Folds up which is a nice bonus. Had no problems so far. Been out 3 times since Sunday and my son loves it! Easy assemble, delivery was quick. Already recommended to family members for their children. Great scooter!

A really lovely item. Excellent in every way!

Pretty sturdy scooter with good choice of colors. Came fully assembled in the box and saved time in having to put things together. Well balanced. My daughter is loving it. I didn't get to research other scooters that are well reviewed, so have to see if this is really value for money. Will update the review after a month of use.

Good quality very smooth but quite difficult to fold down and put back up. Brake quite hard too.

Brilliant scooter. Easy to adjust the height and fold for easy transport. Quite heavy do you wouldn't really want to be carrying it around for too long. The wheels are a rubber type material which gives a nice smooth ride along the path. Son, aged 4, loves it.
