This table top planetarium and projector has its own stand and the main body of the unit rotates so you can use either the projector or the planetarium. The planetarium has two domes, one projecting star patterns and the other projecting constellations onto ceilings and walls. Place the black star or constellation dome onto the slots on the head of the deep space unit, gently twist to hold the dome in place, turn the switch on to the dome projector setting and watch the images rotate around your room. Untwist the domes to release. Add the night light dome and deep space becomes a cool night light with rotating stars and constellations. Swivel the unit around and use the high quality projector to view 24 colour NASA and Hubble Telescope photographs of spacecraft, astronauts, planets and nebulae from three changeable slide discs. It is too bad there are no more slide disks available to buy for it, they would be able to become more advanced as he does. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And there was light *by on Reviewed in the United States December 2, 2016* My son is a space nut so this is perfect. As much as he love the planetarium portion he also loves the slides that come with it. We've sat through several planetarium shows that he has put on for us showing us all the different types of galaxy formations. I would say that if you're planning on using this as a night light then be ready to charge batteries at least 1-2 times a week. My son uses this every night and we turn it off when we check on him before we go to bed (around 12-1 am) so it does last for a while.Note: I can't praise Eneloop rechargebale batteries enough. I've been using them for years and can't believe the power consistency. I believe they are rated for like 10,000 recharges and with how much we use them over the past 10 years I have never thrown one out yet. I know they are pricey but after using several different inferior varieties I just can't love them more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the lights *by on Reviewed in the United States February 4, 2016* I have two son's who share a room, and they really enjoy the light show. We bought this primarily because we wanted a night light to put in their room and in the product description it said that it could be used for that purpose. The only issue that we have with the product is that it only runs on batteries. We bought some recyclables and are running it that way, but since it was advertised as a potential night light, I kind of expected either a timer to turn it off to conserve batteries, or a 12V adapter to plug into the wall. ## Frequently Bought Together - Brainstorm Toys Deep Space Home Planetarium and Projector STEM - Astronomy Activity Book for Kids: 100+ Fun Ways to Learn About Space and Stargazing - My First Book of Planets: All About the Solar System for Kids --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/8960701-brainstorm-toys-deep-space-home-planetarium-and-projector-stem](https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/8960701-brainstorm-toys-deep-space-home-planetarium-and-projector-stem) --- *Product available on Desertcart Israel* *Store origin: IL* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
