Teapot 11oz Chinese Yixing Pots Yellow Clay Genuine Zisha Handmade Infuser For LooseTea

This was one of my first Yixing teapots. As another reviewer notes, it isn't a handmade pot and there was clayey smell that persisted for a while. But after a month or so use--I dedicated mine to Wuyi rock oolongs--and the pot began to absorb the tea I was brewing in it, its color deepened and became richer and its flavor-enhancing properties began to emerge. I find the shape, which I believe is appropriate to more heavily roasted oolongs, pleasing to the eye, and it feels good in the hand. I think it's a good starter Yixing pot and a very good value at the price.

I'm not sure how they determine the size of this earthen teapot when the description says 11 oz 🫖? But this is way too small for 11 oz size.Otherwise, it's such a beautiful earthen Chinese teapot I've ever have! Just wishing it comes in LARGE SIZE with a correct sizing description(?).Could it be the sizing used was in international but US it's not in metric dimension either. But I'm gonna keep it, anyway. I will find another earthen teapot 🫖 bigger than this one.

This is an appropriately sized teapot for personal use or for two people enjoying puerh tea. It is an excellent, entry-level yellow clay teapot for anyone looking for an economical, but attractive way to brew raw green or purple puerh. The teapot is a light yellow color when you first receive it, but will become an attractive darker color once it has been used for some time. Best not to mix types of tea with this pot, as yellow clay is pretty porous and may retain some flavor of whatever is brewed most often. Ripe puerh is probably better brewed in a pot made from a different type of clay.

Lovely little teapot, with a most beautiful color and feel to it in the hand! A most excellent size for a single size cup!

This is not hand made but you know that at this price. May contain toxic materials. It smelled like chemicals and had a lot of grit and sand. I boiled it for 12 hours in 6hr cycles and rinsed. Even after all that it still was releasing grit and dust. Just spend the money if having Yixing teapot is important to you. Expect to pay at least $90 USD for a simple authentic pot that may be partially hand made.

Je vais pas raconter ma vie, non.Mais je peux dire que je bois du thé - du thé chinois et du thé japonais - depuis longtemps.Le thé c'est comme le vin. Multitude de Terroirs et de façons de faire. C'est pareil pour les théières. Beaucoup de styles, de traditions, de matières.La théière est un art, et cet art parle de la Chine, la Chine qui a plus de 4000 ans d'existence et de civilisation. Alors bien sûr, j'ai beaucoup de théières. Je ne les collectionne pas, je les utilise. Et chaque fois que je change, c'est comme de changer de paysage.Vous l'avez compris, j'aime les théières.Celle-ci est remarquable. Par sa couleur, peu courante, par sa forme, très classique et harmonieuse, par la qualité de la terre utilisée - un mix particulier et réussi. Elle est sympathique et chaleureuse. Elle inspire confiance. Car une théière est une personne, et une personnalité. Une présence particulière non remplaçable.Voilà.Je pense que le thé Oolong va faire un bon mariage avec elle.Pour mon plus grand plaisir.Additif :À propos de l'appréciation "2 étoiles" du client américain :Cette personne se pique d'être experte en théières. Il semble que son appréciation ait pour fondement le désir de se distinguer, tant son ignorance est patente.Les potiers de yixing utilisent souvent la technique du moulage pour le gros-oeuvre de certains types de théières. À ceci près que c'est eux-mêmes qui fabriquent ce moule.Quant à payer cher pour être sûr d'avoir une "vraie" yixing, j'ai bien peur qu'il fasse partie de ceux qui se font pigeonner assez classiquement par cet argument fallacieux. J'ai deux théières faites sur commande à yixing par un maître théier, qui m'ont à peine coûté le double (entre 50 et 60€)du prix de celle-ci.

Das etwas größere Teekännchen werde ich mit bai chaeinweihen. Bevor es benutzt wird ist es bei allen zisha Teekannen ratsam sie erst einmal zu Präparieren, d.h in einem Topf mit weichen Wasser auskochen, je feinperliger sich Blasen an der Kanne bilden desto besser/hochwertiger die Qualität der Kanne. Bei gong fu cha ist es zu empfehlen für jeden Tee eine eigene Teekanne zu benutzen, d.h.bei wulong/oolong eine andere als zu pu'erh cha da dies den Geschmack beinträchtigen kann.Immer nur mit Wasser spülen damit sich eine Patina bilden kann und gut trocknen lassen.Wünsche allen Teeisten eine schöne Schale Tee!
