Wow
I’ve been needing one of these for along time but I would say this is more of a “Fine” woodworking tool vs a general tool. Meaning when your skill level rises and your able to perform micro surgery as a comparison to your woodworking skill then it’s time to invest into vary good micro precision tools with great quality. Buy this tool and take care of it and you will hand it down to your children and grandchildren one day. You will not be disappointed. Coming from someone who likes to save money and never pulls the trigger on a good deal because I hold myself back . I should have got this years ago.

Haven't used it yet
This seems to be a very nice marking gauge -- but I haven't used it yet. That said, I like that the fence is round and can be used in any orientation. I like that the set screw has a large enough knurled cap that it is adequate to actually lock the fence in place. (My old gauge has a knurled and slotted screw; but the head is so small on the screw that finger tight isn't good enough -- you need a screwdriver and a third hand to set it.) Also, it is very nicely finished -- polished brass that slides effortlessly. I am very interested in how this wheeled gauge compares to the scratch gauge I am replacing.

Love it
It feels like an expensive tool and it works really well. I bought this to make some mortise and tenon joints on a table, and it has really been a timesaver! Wish I would have bought this a long time ago

Good for price, not the best
It’s a pretty solid tool but doesn’t hold true when marking your mortise unless you lock down the meniscus with a set of pliers. You’ll find that after marking one side of your mortise or when doing a tenon that its corresponding side is off if you don’t properly lock it down.My blade cracked after the first set of table legs I used it on.
