Disney Frozen Olaf Waffle Maker - Makes Olaf the Snowman Waffles

We bought our first one last year around Christmas. Our kids love making waffles with it. It’s like my wife’s thing. Olaf waffles. They all bond together over it.I love it cause it’s my wife’s thing. Dad doesn’t make Olaf waffles. So when the kids want them, I get out of cooking.After using it multiple times through the year it broke. So we bought a new one to keep their ‘thing’ going.

The concept is great. The practical results are frustrating. You really MUST pour carefully or the individual Olaf "parts" don't look right. Because each "part" of Olaf is separate, kids can have a lot of fun assembling Olaf in different ways. The idea is AWESOME. The design needs tweaking to be really practical.

I got this as a gift and gave it as a gift. My kids absolutely love making and eating Olaffles. I've gotten so into this Olaffle maker that I've done grilled cheese, tater tot hash browns and eggs in the maker. After a few messes out the back, I started using a small cookie dough scoop to help put the right amount of batter in. It is by far the most fun we've had in the kitchen in a while.

Product worked great for the first three rounds. Now, since purchasing in December the batter still sticks to the surface even when using PAM non-stick spray. It is made in China so was not expecting much anyway!

Works great with a condiment squirter! I bought a package of them for a few dollars right here on Amazon. Waffles aren't very large so be prepared to make several for a hungry kid! For 3+ kids, you'll be pressing waffles all morning.

We use this when my nieces come over, mostly, because I'm too lazy to mix up a batch of waffle mix. I put the mix in a squeeze bottle so it's easier to aim, and I can usually do it without much mess. The waffles come out awesome, and as long as you spray it after every two or three waffles, they come out super easily.

It does make cute Olaf waffles, but the stink from the nonstick coating won't go away after several uses, and its making the waffles stink. I'm concerned chemicals from the coating is getting on the food. (I am aware of Teflon properties of the non stick coatings, but think this must be a China knockoff toxic coating or something, it's disgusting.) I don't want to feed to my kids anything from this waffle maker.

Disappointed! This arrived damaged and looked like it was previously shipped out!Very flimsy and cheaply made. Not worth anywhere near what is being asked.
