FX8164 Gaming Desktop

Great computer for the money. I like that the mother board does have 4 ram slots(32gb max memory). Good msi gt 640 graphics card, also comes this exhaust fan. The processor is great. The tower looks great not to flashy, but does light up with the blue leds on the exhaust fan, so you can see the guts. Only CON is that the keyboard and mouse are cheap quality. Was fast out the box i put more ram in mine and now its amazing. I use mine for gaming and i can have multiple applications running and it doesn't matter its just handles the work load. Really Impressed.

Can't read product key. Printed so it is hard to read. So windows won't activate. Tons of "programs" / Junk want a piece of me. And I am old and poor and don't want tones of programs grabbing bits of my pennies.Opened document at Avatar and posted problem on ticket no response. Had a friend read theAvatar Product Key: Still Won't work nuts.Thought it would be a nice upgrade but think I like my Vista Quad core machine better it works.Currently own/ have about me 5 machines one needs a power supply and is very old but I like it better than the Avatar FX8164 Gaming Desktop, at present Think I should shed at least 3 of them and the Avatar is high on that list of 3...Other than that that it seems to work after I got a Wi-Fi modem attached...but of course Win 8.1 requires the usual learning curve which I have barely started. As this is my first Win 8 machine.Guess a start up for dummies page might have been agood add on (install a web-fire wall and anti-virus first?)I think I installed costminn and a few other mal-ware bugs in my haste to get started *&%$^^ (or nuts) but off line it is a great machine now that i have a smattering of knowledge of how to manuver in Win 8.1 finalally got Norton 360 installed but it is not doing anytthing about costuminn which is very annoying when I shop as I have to close x# window ads in order to see what I logged on to see.... once in a great while costuminn shows me another web site for what I want but generally it is a pain in the kister. I pray it is not ripping off my CC#s etc.this is my b'day and xmas present for 2014 .... so far I love it with a 40" TLC monitor + Nice

In case you are wondering about which games, I play two on it. Both with high settings. World of Tanks and World of Warcraft. I have hooked the system up to my 55" Samsung 3D, HD television. It plays the games in 3D, and that is cool. The system is more than fast enough for what I do. It also has room in the case for plenty of expansion and upgrades.

After nine years we got a new computer and picked this one. For me this is great. It is fast, runs newer games really well and easy to setup. Like the open look and the USB access on top. Head phones plug right in and a prompt opens to select a multitude of speaker options.

He's a gamer and he has been loving this computer. He said that every game he has "thrown at it" has performed great on the high settings. It about killed him to wait for it to do all the updates when he first opened it. Since then it has performed flawlessly. Great deal.

How can it not come with a wireless card... Yeah the desktop is pretty powerful and stuff but, the only thing that I really needed in this computer was a wireless card. Now una have to buy it separately. I'm going to have a bad day at work today man.. Great.

I love Avatar for its prices although you can get a better pc if you build your own Avatar literally scams you maybe 20$ while other companies normally scam you around 100$+ range because they want more profit if you're looking for a computer Avatar is the way to go Side Note: Their processor is really good they chose to use same with the graphics card no bottle necking here
