1989 Upper Deck Baseball Factory Sealed 800 Card Set with Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie!

This set changed the way cards are still made today. They was made on on a better stock with high qulity pics on the back of the cards. Before this set cards was made on just a recyled cardbord. The #1 card started out with Ken Griffy Jr. card before he ever played a game. For you that don't remember Griffy was the biggest star of the 90's. He finished with over 600hr. At the time everyone wanted this card it was like having 1951 Mickey Mantle.

So I get my so called factory sealed set in today, a little hole is punctured on the box top, the "seal" is not sealed and looks as if it hasn't been in years. Very very unhappy paying $75 for a set that is open considering I received the set as a kid in 1989 and have all of the cards opened from the set already, I was expecting what was advertised, this set is not sealed. The photo shows a wrapped set otherwise i would have never made this purchase. I will never buy from this false advertiser again, DisC2013.

Cards were in good shape but they were definitely NOT factory sealed. While all the cards were present the box had been opened. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

Well packaged and sealed, would recommend to all baseball card collectors.Most valuable card was ken griffey jr card, you can't beat this deal!

It was obvious the box was not the original factory seal as I had hoped. Once opened I quickly realized why - the cards were all in spectacular condition except one. It seem’s the Ken Griffey card had been swapped out for a poor condition one. I am very displeased. I deal and collect cards and this is my opinion of why his card was in such poor condition. I will avoid this seller in the future. It might be this person bought that way prior and sold not knowing ?Two stars as it was a complete set and all other cards were as expected.

Not as advertised. Set was not factory sealed and did not contain the Griffey card. Bogus. That is an outright lie and is not how business is done, especially in the baseball card world. I highly recommend to avoid buying material from this seller.

I bought this new in 1989 - still factory sealed - for $200!they're only $70 now....buy high, sell low.
