Team Blacksheep TBS Crossfire TX LITE

If you do not need the BT module why pay for it in the the Full version when this TX lite does the same thing at a fraction of the costs of the full tx version. Easy to set up and update needed firmware. Binding and updating the receivers are a breeze as well. Fits perfectly in either my Taranis X9d+ or my Radiomaster TX16s. The screen on the module itself is a neat little feature to see relevant information. The module fits perfectly into the JR bay of my radio. I have been getting some good range and signal quality and slowly pushing the limits of the system.

Took less than 6 min start to finish. 1 min to open box install TX 2 min to download TBS Agent. And 3 min to update and complete setup of settings on my XD9+ Tranitter. TBS Agent is the most easiest method of updating your TX. I've had before and never had a failsafe or lost any equipment. It's that good.

One of the best things they’ve done is sale this without the Bluetooth. Something I wooden use anyway and taking the price down is the reason I bought it. Now that I’m using this receiver module I’m switching over all of my quads. The system is easy to set up and hassle free. Even for over $200 I think it’s well worth it I should’ve been made the jump and switched over.

I actually purchased the Micro TX but then realized that the Micro TX does not record your last GPS position but the full TBS TX does. But then I saw the TBS Lite and found out it offered the exact same features the full TBS TX did except for the bluetooth. And that was fine with me. Bluetooth would be nice, but certainly not a deal breaker. And it works great. And it's not that much more than the Micro TX.

This thing rocks. I love it more than the micro XF I had. So much easier to do everything from change settings to binding. Spend the extra cash here and get this one FIRST!

Love it long range

Came with a melted piece on the circuit board. Wont power on. Straight out of the box it was received like this. Kind of ridiculous. Do they not test these things before shipping them? How did nobody notice the unit wont even turn on, let alone work with my drone. A waste of time waiting for it. Waste of money. Sending back for a refund. Not mad that its broken, TBS is an awesome company. Just upset I wasnt told I needed a module for the Ethix when I bought it, and so I waited all that time for the controller to get it and realize I needed a module, and then buy the module and wait even longer, only to get it and it not work. Thats what's frustrating. Only giving it 3 stars instead of 1 though because I know TBS is an amazing company and will make it right. I run TBS gear ONLY, including the new Mambo Ethix. Amazing company, just a quality control mistake or overlook. It happens.
