Outset Nonstick Grill, Taco Rack

This was actually purchased as a taco shell maker in my air fryer. I removed the frame/ handles and just slightly squished the mesh lengthwise and was able to use this for air frying taco shells. It works incredibly well. Just microwave the shell for 20 to 30 seconds to get it flexible and then drape it over the mesh. Spray with cooking oil (which is actually not needed) and air fry. You'll get the crunchiest taco shells you've ever had.I tried another product first for air fryer taco shells, but this one works far better.

This was just what I needed for taco night....I just may need another though. I popped 5 corn tortillas in the microwave for about 45 seconds. Then I lightly sprayed them with avocado oil, laid each over the rack (so they looked like upside-down tacos....I only specify this because my husband thought I should do it the opposite way), and popped them in my oven, preheated at 400 degrees. I don't know how long...I just checked periodically and pulled them out when they turned light brown and felt crispy. They were perfect!

I don’t know if I got a defective taco rack or if they’re all like this, but there are sharp edges from the mesh on the bottom of one side that are like barbed wire. I cut my hand taking it out of the packaging. I’ll probably bend or file them down, but I doubt I’ll be buying this brand in the future, and I recommend you look elsewhere.

I’m 66 years old and love homemade tacos I can’t believe I never had a taco holder until now I can’t live without this thing is awesome since buying this one I’ve purchased the plastic ones six pack the large ones they work pretty good only pull those out when I have company I highly recommend this taco rack throw it in the dishwasher done I fry my taco shells in a pan quarter ways open then put them in the rack and load them I would send some awesome pictures but I don’t like websites accessing my camera roll

This is perfect to make shaped taco shells. I use cheese wraps instead of corn tortillas, the Keto way to go. They lay nicely over the humps and cook well in the oven to form the shape.

Pretty flimsy, would not recommend if you’re looking for a high quality tray...

I’ve used this several times. It’s one of those items that will sit very well in the back of the cupboard! It holds the taco in place best? As far as making crispy taco shells In the air fryer oven …. Very debatable? I’m not pleased.

Does not seem to be a well constructed item - the spacing between the individual holders is inconsistent and uneven. Seems to lack quality in the construction.

Perfect for what I ordered it for.
