With Heavier Snow you take in Smaller Amounts but it Still Moves a Lot of Snow at One Time!
One of the Best Snow Shovels out on the Market! Moves a Lot of Snow Fast!

It’s a yes!
Replaced the old one seamlessly. It’s light and effective, quickly shoving snow to the edges. Holds a decent volume and not awful to lift.

Pretty well built
When you get the shovel it comes in 2 pieces with 2 bolts and 2 nuts. Easy to put together but you will need a phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench ( I think the nut is 1/4 or 3/8, I don't recall for sure). The shovel is pretty well built and works well. The handle is coated metal with hand grip and the scoop is hard but yet bendable plastic so it won't break real easy. It does a good job of pushing and scooping snow, it isn't an awkward throw. I'd definitely buy it again especially for the price.

Pretty good, but not the best
I'm quirky, I consider myself a snow shovel connoisseur (growing up in the great lakes region and in the Rocky Mountains). The Bully Tools shovel is good overall design and size. But, I prefer snow shovels that employ more rigid plastic as these seem a little rubbery to me, I think they will wear faster compared to my personal favorite which is the Wolverine FD24PP Snow Shovel. I have had a Wolverine for 10 years or so which has held up really well with surprisingly minimal blade wear. By contrast, a cheap plastic shovel from the local hardware store completely wore away in about 2 years. Stiffer plastic cuts rather than bends. Unfortunately, the Wolverines are hard to find and over the last few years, the only option to buy them is getting a six pack. I just broke down and ordered a six pack of those too. Both of these 2 shovels are extremely similar overall really. My recommendation for either of them is to apply Gorilla Glue during assembly to the where the shovels attaches to the handle, otherwise you will find that the holes in the fiberglass handles start to wear and open up and the shovel becomes loose/sloppy. I did this to my Wolverine years ago and the whole assembly is still rock solid. Gorilla Glue is pretty amazing stuff.

Snow Shovel
Holes didn’t match up for putting the handle on. Other than that is is a great shovel

Weak handle attachment
I recommend this shovel for only the lightest, fluffiest snow; anything heavier risks breaking the handle. I used it about 2 inches of slightly wet snow, and with the slightest angling of the blade or asymmetric load I could hear the fiberglass of the handle crunching and compressing at the bolts. With a “push-type”shovel like this, one often wants to angle the blade a bit or leave the left or right end of the blade open in order to to neatly push the snow away and not leave a trail on both sides. Unfortunately this product is not strong enough to use this way except for very light or thinly-coated snow. Wirecutter missed the mark on this recommendation!

Made in USA
The 27" wide was perfect to help clear my driveway quicker than the 20" plow I had. Well made from heavy duty poly.
