This had been on my TBR for quite a while, and I finally got around to reading it. And what a glorious experience that was!This, for me, was Dostoevsky at his lyrical best. The wonderful prose, the gorgeous scenery in which the story is set, and the heartachingly beautiful depictions of melancholy, loneliness and pain that comes along with- all of it make it a stunning piece of art.I don't think that this a love story- it more of a deep introspection of the human psyche, and for which I shall be eternally grateful.As one of the characters says, "But how could you live and have no story to tell?", and truly what a story this was!

White Nights is a beautifully melancholic story about loneliness, hope, and fleeting romance. Dostoevsky’s delicate prose captures the bittersweet emotions of a dreamer caught between reality and fantasy.

The book was delivered in good condition. It’s very compact about the size of your palm making it easy to carry anywhere. The font size is large enough to read comfortably, so there’s no strain on the eyes. Overall, a great edition for convenient reading on the go.

The book worth for the amount. Pages and cover pages are good and clean. As a reader of Dostoyevsky he is always my one of favourite and really love this one the white nights.
