I finally found the best trimmer around!
This was ordered by one of my female family members, and this is review is written by her-So, I have tried the trimmer from Braun & Very before buying this. Let me compare them all in this review..Built Quality: 10/10Philips feels good quality right from the beginning.I will rate Veet as 7/10 and Braun as 3/10 (Braun one is a really cheap chinese plastic)Attachments: 9/10Phillips has a Trimmer and another close-shave feel attachment. Both work wonderfully well. However a tiny trimmer for detailing would have got it a perfect 10. But with enough dexterity, you will do well with just one trimmer attachment as well. And the attachment giving a close shave is superb.I won't talk about additional accessories like brush, 3mm trim attachment.. because I personally find them useless.Durability:I have recently bought the Philips, so I am yet to see how long it lasts. (Considering the feel & quality, I have high hopes)Braun lasted for 3 months before it's blades got so jittery that it started to pull on hair instead of cutting them. Veet lasted for 10 months and suddenly one day stopped working.. I tried changing battery etc. But it was dead!Functionality & performance:Philips- trims faster & it's comfortable to hold. The button is located strategically enough that you can start & stop at your wish, without accidentally hitting it. Also very comfortable on skin regardless of how you hold it. Highly recommended for newbies who are trying trimmers for first time.Braun- accidental on- off due to poor placement. It never trimmed really nicely. It also pinched on the skin multiple times causing minor bleeds. So make sure you are holding the Braun one at correct angles at all times or end up with skin tears.Veet- stupid button placement with two speeds. And Why in the world anyone needs to trim on slooooow speed? ๐ Skin pinching was minimum (no bleeds, but occasional minor pinches were there). But if you didn't hold it at a correct position, the hair wouldn't get trimmed well. After trying Disposable Shavers, Medical grade shaving blades, Hair removal creams, Very wax strips Braun trimmer, Veet trimmer.. I finally found Phillips trimmer!p.s. For long lasting hair removal, I use philips' epilator.. it was bought way back in 2006 and still works wonderfully!

NOT suitable for thick pubic hair (Lots of nicking)
While the trimmer gives a very close shave I had a pretty bad experience with it. I can't shave my pubic hair with a regular razor because I instantly get awful razor burn and bumps that no preventive or soothing cream could probably help. For this reason I rely on trimmers and have to really let my hair grow out in order to get a close shave each time and avoid ingrown hairs as best I can. At first I was impressed with how close of a shave I was getting but then the trimmer nicked me pretty badly. I thought maybe I just shaved too fast or pulled too hard but then it happened a few more times and when I didn't get nicked I still felt my hair getting pulled and it made me really nervous. I always do a dry shave with trimmers and have never had this issue but because of all the cuts I decided to use Dove soap and water and shave very slowly (which was time consuming) but it still cut me like 3 more times. At this point I was too afraid to continue shaving especially as I got closer to my more intimate, hard to shave areas. So it was a pretty tedious and disappointing experience. I literally could not continue shaving. So if you have long and/or thick public hair or just a lot of it, this probably isn't a good trimmer for you.

Worked as advertised for small areas.
I purchased this 3 in 1 women's bikini trimmer for my wife to use in the shower. Before she used it, she tried it on my hairy arm. The trimmer cut the hair off in a long strip without tugging, nicking, or cutting even though it was pressed against my skin. The heads are easy to rotate in and out once you learn there is a triangle you have to align on the handle. The single AA battery (not included) works the same way. The shaver didn't work as well as a dedicated shaver because it only has one head that doesn't pivot around curves and covers a smaller area, so shaving anything other than a bikini line with it would take a long time. The only improvement I could see with this product would be a rechargeable battery like the shaver I use has, though that would likely make it cost more in waterproofing, which this trimmer already is. It passed our splash test trimming and shaving and kept working. Overall, I do recommend it. 4/5 stars

It works better than others I have tried
I have used each attachment and I love it. The shave is as close as I expect it to be with zero irritation from the blades themselves. There was some reddness from the guard which went away rapidly. My sensitive areas felt like I had not shaved at all. The round head is plenty big for upper lip, peach fuzz and under arms; it is too small to do legs quickly if you have significant hair. I also found that I did not have to pass over the hair 10 times before it finally shaved it off, unlike other blades I have used. The nose hair trimmers work well, but I have not used the eyebrow attachment as if this review. I also have not used it long enough to comment on the longevity of the blades. The heads are easy to exchange and the battery is easy to install. **I did not receive a battery despite the fact it stated "better included" on the box, but I find that a minimal complaint.

If you want razor burn...buy this
I donโt think this is usable On any sensitive areas. I did not like that it was battery operated. Would not last long. Pros: easy to clean. Cons: have to replace batteries frequently. Razor burn almost every time with use. Will not work on longer hairs, have to trim first (pretty normal for this type of razor), hit and miss on getting hairs I had to go over my legs multiple times.Face: painlessArmpits: razor burn every timeLegs: takes a long time. Too small of a razor for a large area.Bikini: worked ok but there are better ones out there. This is not an expensive product so itโs not a big loss. But donโt waste your time or money on this.
