We found these books to be very written and engaging for the kids, and the adults enjoyed them too! They provide an easy, engaging way to learn the true history of America, not the politically-correct, revisionist history taught in so many of our schools these days. And the kids actually WANT to read and learn more, rather than being bored, memorizing dates and places. These immerse you in the historical events, so you understand what really happened, their meaning and importance. If we taught history this way in our schools, America would be a much better place today.

The quality of the books are really outstanding - in a class by themselves. I was hesitant to order them for a 7 year old although he is a very advanced reader. I worry that he spends too much time playing video games and thought this would help balance the scales a bit towards building his education. At first he was not too interested, but I convinced him to read the first story with me together --- before the first chapter was finished he was hooked. His dad and mom read a chapter with him almost every night and he really is enjoying the stories. This is probably the best investment I have made, I also received Rush Revere and the Presidency for him as well. I am truly excited about these books and the confidence that he will have a firm foundation in learning about our great country in a fun way.

These are amazing books that make it fun and interesting for my grandchildren to learn about our great American history! The author takes the reader along with a time-traveling/talking horse! The kids really pay attention and retain many interesting facts about important events in our history. The horse helps the reader to be a part of the event! Love these books!!!

You will not find a more entertaining way to read history - and get it right! - than this series of books.They are AWESOME reads!

I loved the little known facts and true history that schools either pass over or have removed from their curriculum.The audio CD's were great and since Rush's passing..a great keepsake.

If you are interested in the truth about American history I would suggest you read these. I have had my family read these and will lend these out to my family members to help educate them about history.

Arrived in time for Christmas and my 8 year old is loving it !
