Great company to deal with.....Thanks Guys
update: 7/19/2017 Its been about five years since I purchased these wheels and I am sorry to say they have failed again. I love these wheels but it seems the upper portion of the wheel fails and the ball bearings fall out . I have pets with long hair and the plastic wheels that came with the chair originally would clog up and were tuff to clean. These new wheels were a great alternative and when they picked up dog hair were easy to clean. Now I clean my house regularly and still dog hair makes it way into the wheels. So I will probably buy these again just because they roll soft and smooth and are easy to clean. Just thought you would like to know.I purchased these wheels back in May of this year and after a few months I noticed ball bearings on my floor. I wrote a review stating I was disappointed in the product and the seller contacted me and agreed to replace them.New wheels arrived today. It looks like they made an improvement on the upper portion of the wheel where it had failed by crimping the plate portion that hold the bearings. It seems this company cares about its customers and its products.I will definitely do business with this company in the future and you should have no worries purchasing from these guys..Great company..Thanks

Good Office Chair Wheels
Got these for a heavy-duty office chair, the chair was rated for 350 pounds, while the casters it came with were only rated for 75. I'm actually not nearly that heavy, but in practice 2 out of the 5 wheels tend to take most of the weight, and I didn't want to have to worry about it. I tend to either lean way back or sit way forward, and either way, I've broken a lot of wheels. When I was investing over $250 in a heavy-duty chair, I didn't want to have the wheels as a weak link. These work really well, rolling smoothly and fitting well, and look considerably better than the cheap plastic double-wheels. If I was using it on thick carpet I'd probably wish I had gone with the 3-inch version, but on hard floors with persian-style rugs, these work fine.

Fail...can't handle weight.
I purchased a set for my chair. Casters held up for a few months, that's it.I'm a big & tall dude around 400lbs and roll around a lot between a couple of desks.Casters could not hold up to my weight past a few months, then theCasters will not pivit or not roll around smoothly without force. After inspection...the ball-bearing connection comes loose with too much play, locking up at certain points.Fail....Can't handle a big guy like me. If your a lighter person under 250lbs, then it should be no problem.I now have/using the ATOMDOC Office Chair Casters...So far, so good. Specs hold a lot more weight than these using a whole new design for strength and dust resistance. I'll follow up on the review at a later point for those casters.

My casters broke in under a month
I bought 5 of these for my chair and a couple weeks later started to find tiny ball bearings scattered around the room. Later I figured out they were coming from the casters. After a while some of the wheels started to not turn so well so I decided to replace them with a bit more heavy duty ones.On the plus side the rubber made rolling across my hard wood floors rather quiet.

Works well on carpet.
I bought these to replace the standard wheels that came on my computer chair. These allow the chair to roll on carpet like I'm on a hardwood floor. Further more, they don't dig into the carpet like the other wheels did. These would probably work well on hardwood or tile floor because they are rubber. Very nice product and not very expensive.

Crash landing
Bought these wheels based on the reviews and the silent no scratch feature for our hardwood floor. Put them in place and they looked good and rolled great the first day.2 day later one stem came apart and down I went. I did the e-mail to the company and was told they had 3" wheels for $11 and change which were more sturdy.Being as i weigh about 180 lbs the original wheels should have been sufficient. Any way they said they would refund my money after they received the wheels. I spent $11 to ups them and with the $9 charge to receive them I'm out $20 and finally got tired ( a month ) waiting for my refund so I e-mailed Amazon and the company and finally got a reply they will credit my account. Next time i buy free ship.

Huge Improvement
These are amazing. Really silent, smooth, and agile. They don't add any extra height compared to the factory casters. For a shorter guy, that was very important to me. They so far seem very durable. With a lot of pet hair I don't think I'll have to worry about them locking up. Price was a little more than I'd expect at $43 for a set of 5, but still totally worth it.

Sturdy wheels
We have an office chair that is still very comfortable, but a wheel had broken. We replaced the wheels with some from the office supply store near the mall, but those wheels lasted only a few weeks. We found these wheels and they are teriffic. The chair moves easier than it did when it was new and the wheels seem to be a lot sturdier than the plastic wheels that come on the chairs.
