Good!
The ergonomics, tape retrieve, frame strength, lock and legibility are all good. The metal tape itself is not as thick and doesn't appear as tough as Fat Max tapes. Tape standout is NOT the advertised 10' but rather 9' and actual reach is 8'. Beyond 8', the tape bows too much for practical use. I chose it over Fat Max b/c of the ergonomics and recommendations but I'm not sure I'm glad I did. It has Fat Max beat in retrieval by a big margin but it's never been something that was particularly bothersome for me with the Fat Max. I don't think the need for standout can be overstated when working with lumber but sometimes there's a need for more flexibility in tight spaces, so will be interesting to see if I like the tradeoff. If it holds up the 1" wide tape may prove worth the switch in a 16' tape.

Best tape on the market for measures under and inch and durability
I measure all day in bathrooms and beat the crap out of this tape daily and it has last almost 8 months. I bend it and Twist it daily and it still works great after 8 months of daily use

Milwaukee missed the bar LIMP LIMP LIMP! Bad hook!
Limp limp limp.. and the tip is disappointing.I switched to 16' tapes years ago. Got tired of hiking up my pants and belt.I have had many a Stanley and a few Craftsman. Still think the Stanley Fatmax is one of the most dependable and available tapes on the market. In my box at home I have more than a few Milwaukee tapes and I absolutely love all of them...But the "Stud" falls short of useful and functional. If your names Harry and your a home owner then have at it but as far as an everyday tape on the job site I would avoid this tape if at all possible. I'm just having a hell of a time finding 16' tapes that will last more than a half day on a site.Sorry Milwaukee..

Nice but large
Nice tape. Like everything about it except it's size. Is the same size as a 25 foot fatmax.

Small complaints
I have two complaints.1: The lock feature sometimes half locks and still slightly moves.2: The tip of the ruler can bend easy, which makes the measurements inaccurate. Those complaints aside it is very sturdy, just need to be careful with the tip.

Got a lemon
This is my favorite tape measure right now. However the one I received won’t retract on its own. I got a lemon I guess
