Great Scoring Board. Large size!
Great large size 12 X 12. Big enough for larger projects. Built in scoring tool holder so it's perfect for keeping up with it! It also has an envelope/angle tool built in too! The measurement are clear and easy to read. This Bira Craft 12 x 12 was the best price for a large scoring board I could find so I purchased it but once I received it, I was even happier. Very sturdy, attached tools and perfect for my scoring needs.

must use thick paper or card stock
It took me several tries to make an envelope. I tried with regular "thin" scrapbook paper and with typing paper. Even though I followed the instructions on the back the paper tore or shifted. Finally I made an A2 envelope using 110 weight card stock. I cut it into an 8 inch by 8 inch square. The paper guide (looks sort of like a triangle ) needs to have the ridge on the under side lined up in the 5 1/4 inch slot. It will drop down into the slot. The right side of it should have a notch that lines up on the 11 5/8 inch slot. The very right point should make a flush angle with the corner. See the 1st image on back of package. So I lined up my 8 inch card stock so the point on the left was at the 3 1/2 inch mark on the triangle shaped tool. It went up past the corner on the top right. The card stock goes under the small triangle that sticks out and continues up past the top of the score board. You have to hold the card stock firmly so it don't move when you make the score line. (I suggest a bit of washi tape to help hold it to board so it won't shift.) After you get that 1st score it gets easier. You turn the card stock 90 degrees to the right. You are going to line the 1st score line to the bottom of the triangle that sticks out The card stock will go under that small triangle that sticks out and up past the top of the score board. See the 3rd image on the back of package. Each time I turned my card stock 90 degrees to the right, I used washi tape to hold it so it didn't shift when I made the score mark. After I had all 4 score lines made, I cut the triangles where 2 score lines crossed. See the 4th image on the back of the package. Then I fold all the corners on the scor lines to make my envelope. I used double sided tape to hold it shut. You have to have the card stock flush to the side of the envelope tool or your score lines will be off. There are more project ideas on the back of the package. I am looking forward to trying those projects too.

Good for bigger projects
I like the bigger board for larger projects. For me, it is much easier and quicker with this larger board than it is with one of the smaller ones.Rubber feet make the board stable. Feels sturdy and durable. The only problem I have is with the envelope instruction. One of the envelopes I use most often is for quarter fold cards. (4.25 x 5.5). The scale mark says to use 3.5 on all four sides. This makes an envelope that leaves a large gap between folds and a totally unusable envelope. I do opposing flaps at 3.5 but do the other 2 flaps at 4. This will make an envelope that closes properly.Another thing to keep in mind - the USPS does not recommend square envelopes. You would have to pay extra postage and write "Hand Cancel". Otherwise you run the risk of the envelope being stamped by USPS on the wrong corner (not where your postage stamp is) and having the item returned to you. Ask me how I know this lol.I haven't tried out the box envelope or box instructions yet, but will make sure to test on scrap paper before using my good paper and having the project fail.

Perfect
I've been stashing up on junk journaling supplies and, even though I wasn't sure this would come in handy, it really had and it's been a nice, sturdy quality. I love that the small tool goddess in the back of it. Simple, but effective.
