Great book for DIY smart drones. The books provide a lot of information and advices that could perfectly fit with different projects, even if it focus in on way to make it.

well written and easy to understand

Started reading this book and instead of word "unmanned" everywhere is used word "unnamed" which shows that author have not read it

What I like in that book is learning new technologies and using it for future projects. It can be for drones or anything. But the thing is you can't make a project successful unless you know what technology you should use for that. The book is full of new things and grew my interest building a custom drone. I would definitely test all the projects and make a drone.

I was looking for a book to learn how to code a flight controller, and hope this was it. It isn't.The book (rather shallowly) guides you through the build of drones which use off-the-shelf components, mostly ArduPilot hardware, so you don't learn anything about how to program a drone to actually fly. If you're looking to gain coding experience on PDI controls, filters, etc, you'll learn nothing.That said, if you're happy with building and controlling a drone with off-the-shelf hardware, the book is not so bad. Maybe there are better ones, but I can't suggest any. Still, there are plenty of issues, like text obviously referring to pictures or diagrams which are not there, a rather shallow approach to almost every topic.Decent book, but nothing more

It's really worth what I spent. It gives the basic ideas about what a drone is and to how to build a drone. Even beginners can easily understand the contents in the book. I would suggest people interested in drones to purchase this book
