The directions are easy to miss. It looks like a feather skirt, but you can tie it around your back to achieve the look advertised.

The product itself is decently made. It is a straight line of feathers facing top and bottom though connected at center by velvet ribbon. There is no way to tie this that it will encircle the neck as shown. There would have to be another separate collar apart from the should shrug to achieve this look. We bought 6 for an opera. As a designer with a full wardrobe crew, no one was able to achieve the look shown. If you don't care about that feature, it is a five star accessory.
