Short read with a wonderful story that will resonate with all generations for years.

This is a very sweet, sentimental, short read. I finished it in about 3 hours. I think it is one that I will go back to year after year!

Richard Paul Evans is my favorite author!All these many years, I have had this book and never read it. ..because I also had the movie. I love the movie thinking it followed the book...but recently I learned that the movie did not follow the storyline of the book. Some significant differences! I have some of my books stored since moving so I bought an ebook from Amazon and read it! I love the book, great story! And though I like the movie, I wish they would have stayed true to the book!Extra bonus. ..As a result of this book the author has been able to help thousands of negleted children in ways that would not be possible otherwise. Do yourself a favor and get a great read and also help in a small way with these precious children! Hope this helps to make up your mind! You will find joy in the story. Read the book to find out the real story behind the movie!

This book is an incredible story of a parents love for their child/children.And of God's love for us. It was hard for me to put down. Held my attention to the very end. I'll have to send a flower to put at the angels feet. Our oldest son and his wife gave birth to a stillborn baby girl 5 1/2 years ago. It was hard for us to see him/them go through this. When I pass, I get to be buried next to Harper.

This was delightful to read and was full of emotion. Mary, the ageing widow, invited a couple with the one young child to live with her in her big house. Besides companionship between the adults, Jenna, the young girl, grew to cherish Mary.Mary has a hidden secret, the sadness to which casts a shadow over her life.The story had much sadness but is also full of hope in reflecting the love a parent has for their children. In so doing it drew the obvious comparison with the story of Christmas: God loves His children so much He sent His son to be born to restore our relationship with Him.I'm so glad I read it. It's a quick read being short and very well written. I can understand why it's so popular with many people.

The book is a perfect size, easy read and the story is adorable.

The media could not be loaded.  This book came as expected. A tiny bit loved and still good old paper and ink pages with that real book smell too. I will definitely order again from this seller. Thanks!
