First 100 Christmas Words : Priddy, Roger: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Cannot go wrong with this series - We pretty much have almost every book of this collection and in various languages. The big winners, from my point of view, are: sturdiness (it's all cardboard), clarity of pictures and bright colours. Some words are a bit more niche or repeat across books (as one might expect) but they are a big hit with my daughter. Also, they're quite easy to carry around for a quick read. Review: First 100 Christmas Words by Priddy Books is an excellent choice for introducing young children to holiday-themed vocabulary. The book's festive illustrations, clear word association, and durable board book format make it an ideal resource for parents and caregivers looking to engage toddlers during the Christmas season. It’s simple, educational, and packed with seasonal charm, making it a perfect addition to any child’s Christmas book collection. Below are my observations about this book: Pros: 1. Perfect for the Holiday Season: It’s a festive way to teach toddlers about Christmas traditions, helping them connect with the holiday spirit. 2. Simple and Clear Vocabulary: The book focuses on 100 easy-to-understand words, making it accessible for toddlers just beginning to speak. 3. Durable Format: The board book design is sturdy and toddler-friendly, ensuring it will last through multiple holiday seasons. 4. Vibrant Illustrations: The colorful, cheerful artwork is ideal for grabbing a young child’s attention. Cons: 1. Limited Content: While the focus on Christmas vocabulary is great for holiday learning, this could feel a bit repetitive for older toddlers or those already familiar with basic Christmas concepts. 2. No Interactive Features: For toddlers who enjoy tactile or interactive books, this book might feel a bit static, as it relies solely on visuals and text.

“Santa” got this for our 6 week old daughter. Loved that she can learn all about Christmas. This will be a great book to have when she’s a little older and for sure next year. I like how the categories are organized and each page is colorful and thick. She has the other first 100 words board book and this is a great addition to her growing library.
