Great back ground color for some cross stitch pictures

Before ordering I was dreading using a dark Aida again as my experience with black Aida was awkward (the project turned out great but I couldn't get the fabric to lose its stiffness after multiple washes and it was so hard to find the holes). I gave the navy fabric a wash and was prepared to wash/dry multiple times and try some fabric softener but I didn't need to! The fabric is as soft as the usual white and doesn't snag the color of the thread as the black did on occasion. It's still hard to see when returning the needle to the front but because I'm going off of a counted pattern on my laptop i use that as a kind of lap light box and it's all coming along smoothly. (I'm probably about 10+ hours into this project, fyi.) It's surprisngly wonderful stuff and I can't wait to see this turned into a pillow.

Great quality Aida for cross stitch

Aida in a tube is the best. For anyone who does cross stitch you know how troublesome it is to get creases out. You don't have that with this product. No creases because it is not folded...yeah!

I have always loved this product. I was however a little dissapointed when I opened it and there is a seam in my aida. This cannot be hidden unless picture is made of solid crossstitch. I already chose the picture for this colour and size and now will have to contend with an unsightly seam.

DMC Gold Standard Aida is the only Aida I use, as it’s heavier and doesn’t stretch while stitching like some lighter weight Aida fabrics can.Navy Blue is a perfect colour for a project I have & will make the colours pop.

Black Aida fabric, why must you only exist on Amazon! I have ordered multiple black/navy blue fabrics because of the lack of decent priced fabric in craft and fabric stores locally. Thank you 🙏 for keeping me stocked in all the right colours of Aida!

Exactly as shown. Arrived on time. Deep, rich colour. Nice change from the white and cream traditional colour for your Cross stitch background. Will order again.
