Julbo Sherpa Mountaineering Sunglasses

These are fantastic glasses especially if you suffer with your eyes watering in the hey fever season as I do. No way would I suggest that you use them whilst driving due to the leather blinkers on the side, just stick to your normal glasses in the car. But outside these are great, they are so dark that you don't have to squint even in really bright sunlight and because they are enclosed around the eyes means there is little chance of pollen upsetting you. Sure, you still need to take your meds, but even if you sneeze, these aren't coming off your head due to the fact that the arms can be shaped to fit behind your ears. That also come with a neck cord and a hard plastic case. I just wish I'd bought some years ago when I first stared to suffer. Yes, you get funny looks wearing mountain glassed meant for the snow, but they are cool.

I love it!Connell Jack O'Neill from the sci fi series Stargate sg-1, has these glasses on in the series.I always found them to be some awesome looking sunglasses. I did some research on them, and found these pair of sunglasses.The shipping was okay fast, and all in all very nice ;)Great quality glasses! I have had them for about 1-2 weeks now, and have used them while I was biking alot.They work great for that, because they are very secure on your head :)None of my other sunglasses cannot even come close to compete with thise Julbo sunglasses!

Got these to replace my old Bloc snow-blind goggles, whose metal frames broke after ten years' hard service. I've been looking for a replacement for a long time, and was so glad to come across these.FEATURES include flexible rubber ear-hooks: when you put these on, they absolutely stay on. The leather guards keep the wind (and/or spray) out far better than normal sports shades, making them great for improving vision in high speed or wet sports. They also reduce your peripheral vision though, which is great for rowing but hazardous for cycling; you've got to really commit to that life-saver glance over your shoulder when manoeuvring or you're in trouble. I knew that before I bought them so I'm fine with it, but be aware.BUILD & FIT: as a replacement, they're actually a better fit than my old Blocs, which surprised me - I have a tough time getting sunglasses that fit. They're also sturdier and lighter than my old ones, and come in a (quite bulky) hard-shell case, so overall a great improvement.AESTHETICALLY they're very sound. As you can see, they have a fairly modern styling compared to my old ones, and a slight wrap. This was the only negative for me - I liked my old circular lenses - but I know that's just down to my steam-punk tastes. It would've been churlish to dock a star for that, especially given that they're half the price I paid for my old pair, so full marks for this purchase: they totally fit the bill.

Great specs but the arm of the glasses has now poked through the rubber arm-cover which now means I can really fit them to the depth of my face properly...

I bought the first pair of these over 19 years ago. Still used them until this year (2020), bits had fallen off, (Rubber covers on ear bars, leather side shields), but I could still wear them. Too many scrataches on the lenses meant I had to buy another pair. Good colour lenses, keeps dust and pollen out of your eyes, very comfortable to wear.

Absolutely brilliant. Have been using cheaper products for a few years, but always remembered my glacier glasses from working as a ski rep in the 80's. These are perfect and affordable. Great vision and great look

These are really comfortable for me and feel as if they are very well made.The hard plastic case was a nice surprise along with the cord which goes around the neck. The leather shields on the side are well attached.They feel as if they will last me a long time.The world looks awesome through these glasses too!

I bought these glasses for an ascent of Elbrus in May 2016. They broadly did the job until the wind came in, when the wind came in it beat them to death, the sides came loose and flapped around like wings. Not great when you're in gloves!Aside from teh performance on the mountain. I found them to feel cheap and tacky. The case they come in squashes them flat. No-one I know has a flat face, so they sit away from the sides of your eyes, until I melted the nose bridge with a lighter to make them curve around my face a bit. Not ideal. I also found the silly rubber ear hooks to be too weak to hold them to them to my face. I had to use the cord, pull the glasses tight to where I wanted them and time a knot in the cord. Like swimming goggles. Again. Not ideal. Overall I expected much better, Julbo should know what is needed. However, that said I didn't go snowblind. So all swell that ends well..... I guess....

En lunettes de soleil pour des yeux sensibles, elles ont géniales, hyper légères et permettent tous les mouvements possibles sans bouger de leur place bien vissée sur le nez....Ma dernière paire de jumbo m’ayant fidèlement servi pendant presque une vingtaine d’années, le challenge sera certainement difficile à tenir mais pourquoi ne pas rêver.... la marque sera-t-elle à la hauteur???

Ho preso questi occhiali per completare un cosplay... e mi sono ritrovato a usarli ogni giorni per quanto sono comodi, funzionali e pratici.Le lenti sono ottime, la qualità costruttiva è eccellente e sono COMODI da morire.Li porto al collo in macchina quando entro in galleria, si rimettono subito e il colore delle lenti è molto gradevole.Gli inserti laterali coprono perfettamente lo spazio tra occhiali e volto impedendo riflessi e abbagli laterali.Ottimi!
