My 2 years old mi tv box had given up on me. Pre-ordered the Amazon Fire Stick 4K and tired. Very upset that it doesn't not support Dolby TrueHD Atmos but lossy Streaming DD+ Atmos. The worst thing is the Fire 4K stick downstream almost all my 7.1 channels library to DD+ 5.1.So I picked up this medium pricing TV box and hope it pass through TrueHD signal. However it does not do that. It could not decode or passthrough TrueHD nor Atmos, it stripped audio signal down to DD+. Lucky it give me all 7.1 channels which beats the 4K Fire TV stick.The interface of the TV box is very simple, standard Windows Metro interface. I would say there are quite a lot of junk program installed. The only thing I really use is Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Plex. All of those works fine. It also support google cast, it is one handy feature that Fire TV 4K seems not doing well.I think at this price point the TV box worth around 4 stars. However it comes with an app that stream thousand of channel around the world which included some premium channels and some interesting channels that I have never heard of. I have tried many of those with no luck with the Atmos setting. My Mi box is only Dolby digital 2.0, my Roku stick and Fire 4K stick gives me DD+ 5.1 and this box gives me DD+ 7.1. I am not completely satisfy with the inferior DD+ audio instead of TrueHD. However it seems that this TV box do get a better audio handling than the others. The most important feature of this media player is actually is the one free app that comes with it. I recommend this product simply by the content and information you can get out of that free app.

This TV box is a money worth spent. Working smoothly and good. Quality of the image is very good as well. User interface well designed. It accepts and supports broadcasting and day streaming with no interfering

I recently bought a new tv and it came with android tv os. I really like it a lot and wanted to add that to my older TVs that didn’t have the smart option built in. With just spending on a new house and new tv I really didn’t want to pay a big premium to get an android capable device for my tv. I looked around and seen this device for a decent price it wasn’t the cheapest and it wasn’t the most expensive with the specs that it had. Upon setting up the device I noticed that this had a easy memory cleaning option right on the home screen. You can add and customize as please. One thing that I saw on this device that I didn’t see on my tv was the ability to change the background picture that I can upload. The material that it is made of is like all other tv box which doesn’t bother me cause I will probably mount it to the tv. Excited to learn what else I can do with this device.

This is a classic case of you get what you pay for... I was unable to download any apps to the box and kept getting an error message in Chinese when I tried to download. The box just arrived today, set up was fine but it had already froze multiple times. I tried to download items from the Android TV store and all items had error messages. Same with Google play store. This box is useless and I will be returning.

If you just look for a TV box then this one is good. Quality of picture is good, it's sharp. But if you use it for the apps, it not really good because of a lot of ads will bother you. For someone who uses this for playing HDD: This one cannot do its job properly. This device can not read iso file. The sound of this if your file is DTS then no way you can hear it. It's hard to find the button to change the soundtrack, subtitle. If you have separate subtitle then it can not read it.

Have bought many android boxes. This box is great if your looking for one that comes with a lot of video apps pre installed like Hulu and Netflix. If your buying to use kodi along with a kodi build. Those apps aren't necessary and just take up space. I removed the majority of the apps that I won't use with ease and am happy with my purchase. The box is very fast and has very little lag time loading content. Kodi comes installed but needs to be updated.

Picture quality is great. It does lag and not talking about videos but actual OS. Gotta keep hitting the same key over and over on remote to register and navigation overall on the main screen or within app is not smooth. doesn't feel like its actual 2GB ram. Got 2 of these boxes one for living room and one for bed room same issue on both so its not like one defective and the other works great. both same issue.

I haven't used my Sony BDPS3200 since I set up this TV box- the Sony would lock up on a regular basis but this has worked flawlessly so far. I also like being able to choose which apps I want to install. The browser works great for viewing sites like Skylinewebcams and it has a "desktop" mode that is easily selected from the drop-down menu. The box also accepts a normal USB keyboard which works fine for me until I decide if I need a wireless keyboard or not. I use this a lot for online video as well as radio broadcasts using the Iheart app. It's hard to beat this at such a low price. I bought this as an entry-level box but now I don't see any need to buy a more expensive unit.
