Gigatent Dome Tent

I purchased to use for a sleepover with my nieces (age 9 and 3). I was looking for something to set up in our livingroom so we could camp out. (Winter in Maine, otherwise we'd be outside!) I'm giving it a 4 Star rating because the first tent had a broken elastic in the tent pole system. Seller was EXCELLENT and immediately shipped it out to me and I sent the other back. The new tent was in perfect condition and the girls absolutely LOVED camping out in the middle of a snowstorm! Note: I put fairy lights on top of the tent for stars! The tent and the memories are priceless! I was amazed at the quality! It doesn't have windows, but it does have a front screen and rainfly, huge door and took literally 5 minutes to set up! Totally worth it! :)

I purchased this tent for a family camping trip. Only one person stayed in it. When I received the tent, I sprayed with a waterproof spray and allowed to dry completely. On August 21st it rained in the Adirondack mountains where we camped and the tent took in water., a lot of water. Woke up to all items in the tent soaked. Not a good tent and I can not return as the return date has passed. Used it one time, would not recommend this tent to anyone.

Design flaw. Not sure how it has good reviews, but the poles do not fit securely into the holes on the tent. even on flat ground the poles come out of you look at it the wrong way. Will be returning and getting a kelty.

Using as a indoor camping tent during COVID19. Happily fits a six and four year old and a 5’8” adult. The mesh liner on the window broke within five minutes because a dog shoved her head through it - sooo, don’t recommend dogs shoving their head through it. HOWEVER it’s super fun and roomy!

Design was changed! There are no metal hooks on end to be able to set tent up. Directions stated to place metal hook into end of poles. The end had a plastic piece that fit the pole end but wouldn’t hold the poles in place. Purchased for the kids to use in backyard and had to return due to safety hazard!

I use this for spraying paint in my shop to minimize dust on painted surfaces and overspray landing on everything. I just put the shop vac hose in, zip it up and start spraying. Just did a set of rims with base/clear and turned out perfect without any contaminants. I cannot comment on being waterproof, but would be hard pressed to find a cheaper tent for the purpose of a small makeshift spray booth.

The tent poles do not secure to the tent properly! The pictures on Amazon listing show a nice metal pin and ring system that secure the poles.The tent I received does not have metal pin and ring system. It had a black plastic piece in each corner with holes to secure the poles and stakes. The poles do not fit in the holes of the black plastic piece properly, so the tent will not stay erect.

Do not buy this tent. Waste of time and money. This product is not the same as what is pictured. The reviews are either lies or for a different model. The tent looks fine but cannot stand on its own. The tent poles have nothing to hold them in place. This was for my son to play with and now I have to return.
