Cadet front bumper
Bought this to protect the exhaust on my Cub Cadet LT1. The exhaust is now front and lower center, with no protection from front end impact.

Great bumper a lot more sturdy then pictures indicate. Very satisfied.
Mounted to my Cub Cadet XT1 Lt 46. Will mount as shown or can also mount upside down. I mounted upside down as it protect my heat shroud covering the muffler. ( which is what I keep hitting ) So worked perfectly for my plans. If you choose mounting upright will protect body some but I have never had an issue with damaging the body, always the heat shroud lol! Also nice and sturdy to hook to to pull tractor out if it gets stuck in wet areas. I stood on it with my 300+ pound weight and jumped up and down no problems what so ever. Great product well worth the price ! Installs in seconds ( minute or two )

Good buy!
I bought this after the original was pretty much destroyed at the shop I'd taken the mower for repair. It fit just like the original, and was installed in minutes. I wish I could charge the shop for the replacement, but I didn't notice the damage until I got the mower home. ALWAYS INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU LOAD, AND SECURE IT FOR TRANSPORT!!!

which way is up?
The bumper went on very easily the first time. 14mm socket is the trick. HOWEVER there are two ways to install it. One way is nice looking but completely cosmetic. Its simply too high to protect the mower from impact. I bought the bumper because recently I hit a hidden tree stump and crunched the muffler guard and cracked one of the plastic hood supports. Turn the bumper upside down so it lowers the bumper rail in front of the muffler. ADDED benefit: The bumper should be standard because the engine cover and it mounts are plastic - if you try to lift the mower's front they snap off - the bumper is a better lifting point.
